  • Gairich is a mountain in Scotland situated on the southern side of Loch Quoich between Glen Kingie and Glen Garry in the Lochaber district of the Highland Council Area, 25 kilometres north-northwest of Fort William. Its a fine day out, if a little squelchy at the start, and finish if your doing and out and back from the dam. Fairly straightforward mountain walk with a path throughout; very boggy in parts. There's a short and very easy section of scrambling shortly before the summit.
The views on a good day are worth the wet socks though!

Thanks for your videos which are always highly enjoyable. Just a wee nitpick from this video intro, which states "Summit View from Gairich Munro 850M".
Gairich is 919m and only just qualifies as a Munro. (914 metres).

Hi guys. Watched a few of your videos now & they're one of the best of their kind on youtube ( & I watch a fair few). Haven't actually walked in that area but have driven by a few times en route from Invergarry to Skye. Love the remote look of Loch Quoich. Was glad the camera didn't fall down that steep slope or I fear there would have been blood lol. Take care

Walk With Wallace 👣 the plan was actually to do Sgurr Mor and Gairich from that side over two days. Paddling and Wild camping ⛺️ over. The plan changed. When we arrived the wind was too strong to get over when we had planned which put our timings all out. When the wind dropped, the flying critters we out in battalion strength! Would have made the trip miserable ! Always a plan B though. 😀🤟
