Super Super Useful !! Thank you, my friend!!
Thanks mate, exactly what I was looking for.
Thanks buddy. my right locator had got went to infinity right. I wasn't able to find the end. This helped me!
New format, very cool! Thanks for the tips!
Thanks! - Thought I’d try something different, never really gave it much thought before. Hopefully it’s ok, open to suggestions 🙂
@@PoundSound Yep this is more "connected" to the viewer, I like it best
Thank You 😊👍🏻 But how can you set your left locator to your actual transport position?
You might also like, if you are not aware of it already, setting a shortcut for 'enter left Locator', the UI popping up after that can be utilized with the arrow keys to move around; Do the same thing for the right one; -Pretty sweet for me..; in C12 you could even go up a notch and use the Midi Remote functionality to do the same thing, basically. Cheers, Qake Expert A+ level 🙂
Use range selection tool then alt P, instant loop……
On no.. there is a simple way. Go to bar>cmd-1 for start then go to bar> cmd-2. I use period on number pad to set the bar / measure number then cmd-1 and cmd 2 for start locators start and end... all made as key commands in Cubase. I am lightning fast. Boom-boom!
It can be done quicker! By creating macro for setting the locators to selection and activating the loop mode ;).
Haha. Well, of course! Macros are the ultimate time savers.😉
Choosing range and alt + p is pretty quick in my opinion, no need to make/learn a new macro, shortcut already there!
@Murray Webster it’s handy if you want to do extra things like set the play curser to the start of the event as-well-as setting the range from one key or using a steam deck.
I have two, one to loop and set curser and one to set range without loop and set play curser
@@PoundSound that’s a great idea, I need to invest some more time learning extra functions, there is so much you can do in Cubase but sometimes that is the problem that there is so much you can do but you need to learn it all and apply it constantly so that you remember, I have learnt so many things, multiple DAW’s as well, but without constant use you forget them again, always the question of which to learn that will be really useful and those that can be useful but seldom needed/used
Have you tried the Zen software that lays your macros out tile form to be used in conjunction with a touchscreen optimally?
I bought the software but do not have a touchscreen for my main rig, only my laptop is touchscreen ( and 4K, so with 15” pretty much unusable, stupid buy…)
