I'm an athiest too, but that makes no difference on my view of music. I've personally met Ali, and I've seen him perform, and he brought tears to my eyes. One of a kind mc.
"Satan doubted it, angels bowed to it I'm so beautifully human and I'm proud of it" Damn, I needed to hear this so bad right now. Dude is the truth. Step back from the chaos and realize your self-worth, people.
Bismillah Ar-Rahman Ar-Raheem I said the good Lord made me what I am and I play this game for keeps Got to use what I have to get what I want, all the dreamer got is his dream And the good Lord made me what I am and I play the hand I'm dealt Said sometimes the hardest thing to be in this world is just yourself Best believe the Qur'an influenced all of my songs My fans run and tattoo 'em all on they arms Wanna travel, be there every time I perform Now look me in my eye and tell me, how am I wrong? "My good friend Rik Cordero shot the video at a community event we did in the historic Malcolm X and Dr. Betty Shabazz Center in Harlem NY" That's taken from the video description.
I atheist. But, i love this song. Its poetic. It tells u to treat ppl with kindness. Life is hard but dont give up. Know u r special. U r a warrior but also a kind person.😭
I'm one of the biggest atheist on earth, but everytime I hear a song talking about God it makes me chill. DMX with Lord give me a sign for example, or this Brother Ali's joint : sooooo good! They put their heart in those songs!
But let a painter paint it or a poet describe it..... The most beautiful and meaningful concept in this realm. I love humanity. One of the greatest songs ever.
It doesn't matter which religion you follow. The light can't be described in words. It can only be experienced. One day you will understand. Kudos Brother!
Brother Ali, your songs are helping me through it only god knows. May god bless you and your family. Love and peace ALWAYS, regardless of your race or religion god loves you like that. Bless us all.
I never truly understood the lyrics of I Tremble until I took my Shahada. I don't have the words but the best description I can summon is that I was gripped with this beautiful fear that can only be the Fear of Allah, while at the same time feeling His Grace & Mercy. It was humbling, overwhelming and comforting at the same time. Like I was blessed with the Best Gift one could be given yet at the same time there is a responsibility that comes with it. Assalamualaikum. May Allah SWT be pleased with you and your family.
BismiAllah Ar Rahman Nir Raheem, Being Muslim and hearing all the, great, references to Islamic history and Islam in this song is amazing, Alhamdulilah!
This is simply what I consider "real" religion--what it is supposed to be--real heart, genuine, reflecting where we should all be trying to go. man, thanks for being on this dim planet, Bro Ali! Keep speaking for all of us that don't have a mic! Thanks.
There are many moments and lines of truth in this song and other works by this man. One of the most telling to me and great to hear and to know is this. 2:12 " Something spiritual happen when them hands get to clapping. Can you tell me what language do you laugh in?"
Asalaamu alaykum, Brother Ali. Thank you for this song, your other songs, and ALL the hard work you've been doing for years. You are an inspiration to so many brothers and sisters, all over the place. May ALLAH, God Almighty Bless you and Strengthen you, forevermore. Your friend and brother in faith, Matthew.
Mane you got 12,00 views you should have that many comments mane cause that is a hot song and you delivered. Stay at it and stay on em mane. Inna minute Mile A Minute one love
People are mixing up the structure of religion with the spirituality of it. Ali is the most genuine kind of spiritual person. He wasn't born Muslim. He converted to Islam because he read about it, read its texts, and it was a faith whose belief system agreed with his morals. Like any religion, there's no backing evidence. It's faith. But it's not about the system, the mosques, the churches. It's about his God, and having hope. Ali is inspirational and gives others hope. Don't take it away.
Salam A beautiful video Ali, also another beautiful man who is in the video is Dr Abdullah-Al-Faruq, I met him here in Britain, Liverpool such a humble and open minded individual. Salam Paul
jakemoney, you couldn't have said it any better. The Qur'an has very beautiful things to say, yet most of us only know the bad. I was the same way until I learned the truth through Malcolm X.
i aint muslim, christian, jewish, buddhist etc..im an athiest...but this beat is fucking tight and Ali's rhymes are sick with tight flow as always and thats all i need to thumbs up this video cuz i got respect as long the trax be tight!!! Brotha keep makin that real hiphop about that real shit...
I'm an athiest too, but that makes no difference on my view of music.

Born a Christian, lost it when I grew up. Though I'm not a Muslim, Brother Ali's fire speaks to me in a way no music has before.
