Sadly Carly Rose Sonenclar got 2nd as runner up behind Tate Stevens! Most people think it was a rigged ending, since all pools and search after show pointed that she would hade 60%+ of votes and Tate 25% and the Fifth Harmony 15% or so!
I like it when these singers come out all humble and then, Belt It Out Strong and catch everyone by surprise.
I think it is really priceless when after so many just people, who they are listening all this time, the judges suddenly hear the Best ones! It is The moment!

I really love it when they say "take a deep breath". Like, it sometimes looks like they say: Okay, sure whatever. But then, like with the last one, she opens her mouth and blows everyone off their socks! That gives me such a good and powerful feeling! Good for her that she took them so by surprise! I love her performance!

i'm sure i'm not the first person who thinks simon is a very critical judge. i understand he is in the business & knows what it takes so he is not going to tell someone who is 'good' that he or she is 'great', and he is not going to tell someone who is 'great' that he or she is 'excellent'. simon is still a flesh & blood human male, however, and he is subject to the same egocentric laws that seem to guide most males in the entertainment industry, and for whatever reason, something about this guy made simon feel insecure about his own male sexual magnetism & it made him resort to an immature tactic of stating an obvious untruth in telling this talented guy he was not a good singer. rough around the edges & in need of a good manager? Yes, for sure, but not good? No, no way.

It's amazing how these "talents" come on these shows and sound just like 1,000 other singers. However, #8 was incredibly good.

She deserves being at #8... Lol you have to really look at all the performances to determine that all of them ARE in fact "talented". I know it may sound like I'm being an ass, but everyone deserves their right to be number 1 if they are good enough. And honestly for a 13 year old to be #8 is good enough having beaten the other 2 before her. I can say though if they had a singing competition with other kids around her age she would rightfully slay all of them. And again remember she's 13 if she was 20 and over she may have gone further down the list potentially #3 or even #1. Hope you get what I mean
Most of these singers were on different seasons of the show so you can't really judge 1 person and say that she is amazing overall and say she's better than everyone else. Her control in her voice is great and her range as well but because of her age it's not as explosive as some of the others rated further down. It's not always about the high range of singing it's everything that makes the person sing a song great. You just got to imagine it being played in your playlist of songs. Does it sound outstanding, not in the voice but does the song sound good being sung that way. That's what you need to judge upon. Everybody deserves a fair spot to be better than someone else like I said. Age shouldn't be a factor. Pool Gomez put top 10 extreme auditions in the whole of X Factor man... Not one particular season, imo she is good enough to already be in this list along with other great singers. It's about the singing and the voice after all. Not the talent in which there is Britain's Got Talent that would fit her better. Because her real "talent" is being able to sing like no other 13 year old probably 1 in 1,000,000 at her age. But overall when you compare to the other singers in X Factor their style and their control along with their incredible range of singing is all better overall.
