- Every night without fail, our new neighbors hold a vigil outside the D.C. jail where the rioters arrested for their actions on January 6 are held. We visit and discover an alternate universe, where the people we know as insurrectionists are considered heroes. We get closer to our neighbors, and they invite us to their house, which they call the “Eagle’s Nest.” There we learn about how their lives were turned upside down after January 6 and how they were wrecked by grief.

I'm trying to be open-minded on this issue. It's a real struggle.
When I hear from most these people via these interviews and others, I'm simply reminded how woefully inadequate mental healthcare in is our nation.
The chanting was very strange and weird! Alternate universe.
Bullshit
@Hollywood-andVine It is BS. I know. Impossible to reconcile.
I have absolutely NO sympathy. These people and everything they stand for is gross.
Justice would come in the form of a criminal trial for the one that incited the event.
It’s almost like if she hadn’t gone into the Capitol that she’d still be alive.. I think the underlying issue most don’t seem to be addressing unfortunately (I mean everyone, including the media) is how psychology works and can lead people to completely irrational thoughts and beliefs.
Imagine the body count if the natl guard had actually defended the Capitol on that day, there would have been so many more deservedly grieving families
No, it wouldn't have happened if the national guard was there.
I agree with both of you.
Play stupid games, win stupid prizes.
The vigil isn't for Ashley Babbitt.
They never said it was just for her. Listen.
Yeah it’s for all the weirdos, not just her the singular weirdo 😂
How can they compartmentalize this from all the horrifying behavior ? They’re out of their minds
prisoners have phones? wtf?
I went to Burlington College, where we learned that, in a real revolution, one either wins or one dies.
It’s difficult to aptly characterize just what kind of self-destructive tantrum these people attended.
Justice is arresting every single one of these people.
The Eagle's Nest? Really? 😒
This was not the only death on January 6th.
"The only person shot and killed on January 6" 1:36
"someone at the vigil reads off the names of people detained as a result of Jan6, plus the people who died on Jan6 and the folks who took their lives after the riot." 5:05
@@kahlilbt I know that. But the way it is presented makes it sound like there is only one in total associated with the insurrection.
@@KittyComoMeow i disagree, i think the presentation is very clear and obvious if you have some literacy and aren't looking for a bugaboo. Everyone knows there are multiple dths associated with Jan6.
They should’ve complied!🙄
