Gundam Wing appeals to the fujoshi crowd and they clearly know what they are doing, they tried to do the same thing again with Gundam 00 but not as successful despite having a character designer who made BL manga.
i think you were today years old when you learned most anime fans (in the US anyways) got into it for the slightly hotter style of art, not the big machines 😜😂 i don’t think it’s a coincidence the nerdier anime kids turn into the kinkier fet adults 🙃🤣🙃

Love the Turn A art so much, the first one with loran perfectly encapsulates what it felt like to be a kid in the 90’s.
I really like the old style of art with intense blacks and really cool, shiny lighting. Similar to what is show at 04:35.
