Would make sense to put a gravity box by the silo, an unload the grain cart straight into that. be easier than backing the semi into position each time.

You could go back to snaplage very easily with your 6910. you can run your 8 row head from one side and would only need to switch out a pto shaft between doing snaplage and normal corn with the combine.

J&D Mfg are still in business but they are in Eau Claire Wisconsin. Not sure if they were ever in Canada just had a Canadian Patent

If you are keeping one silo maybe take the cable and motor from a silo you are taking down and make an elevator for yourself to go up and down. You weigh less than the machine hat is hanging off the cables.
