A lot of internet social activities today don’t require face-to-face interactions (think fandoms, online gaming, etc), so I think the whole Metaverse concept would be more like a spice up rather than an improvement. The actual problem with Meta, I would say, is that they’re too scuffed compared to Meta’s main competitor, VRChat, and the fact that it’s just Mark shamelessly capitalizing on the most basic aspect of humans being humans.
