    I wish professors in medical schools explained concepts like this.
    Only if i had seen this video 5-6 years ago, i would have never struggled in high school, bachelors, and in medical school 😂😂

    I learned things about contractile function and physiology, in watching this, that I've been wondering about since 1991 - thanks for posting. 👍❤

    I have a back injury, so im only lifting light, 20 pound dumbbells, and I'm working on high reps, and endurance muscles, "Slow Twitch fibers " and wanted to know, when I do get strong enough to lift heavy again, will I keep my endurance and slow twitch fibers, when I start to train fast twitch fibers for power? Because I'm trying to train for both, to have endurance and strength. Also, how do I train the fast twitch 2x fibers? Is that also, heavy weight training? But, even heavier???

      Yes, heavy for fast twitch. In the 1-6 rep max range. I’d still ease into it though for safety’s sake. Hope you’re mending well.

      @satchm05 I'm still training high reps, low weights, and my back still hurts, but, it's getting better.

    Does training LISS after HIIT effect mitochondrial biogenesis?

      HIIT after LISS makes more sense. Want to stay in Zone 2 for mitochondrial biogenesis.

    So basically 2X and 2A are best for Olympic lifting?

    So I CAN become as strong as an Asgardian with plenty of the right kind of muscle fiber!

      But you still have to be worthy to lift the hammer.

    Im super into my fitness but this type of talk is so amazingly boring. Nobody needs that much detail. Just tell us what workout is best for fast twitch and slow twitch. And why ne need both. These you tube gurus do this all the time.

      There are a million videos talking about that, the truth: nobody knows, we have informed guesses about training strategies, this kind of conversation is needed to understand the processes in our muscles.

      yes but not everyone is a meathead bodybuilder. some people are into Sport and competitive aspects whereas genetics play a role and knowing yourself is important. that’s what health is all about!

      @notktm 5 місяців тому

      @@erickmacias5153i think it’s genetic. i don’t believe it can be trained as well as you are born with

      I am not a meathead bodybuilder and I train like an athlete! I am sure I know more about fitness than you. I train to be fast and mobile. These guys are not only boring , they contradict each other and themselves all the time. I am smart enough to read some random new test that maybe flawed or biased also.
