I would love to see a documentary on the creative and recording process if there is another Tool album. It's unbelievable how a band can makes songs that are so complex but simple and barebones at the same time. Like, when you listen to DT, lots going on but you are very aware of the rigid structure even with the complexity. Adam and Danny could be one of the most underrated writing duos of all time.

I’m 55 and literally just got my first guitar , a sunburst fender , I’m still pretty clueless lol but truly enjoying it every time I pick it up, both of my sons are self taught and seeing how much they have progressed over the years gives me lots of inspiration that you can still teach an old dog new tricks 🤣.
We aren’t seeing another full album. I’d be absolutely shocked. Fear Innoculum seemed like the culmination and 7empest was the perfect bookend to their catalogue.
On the last 2 tours he actually played guitar for the first half of Culling Voices…they all sat up front on stage, MTV Unplugged style, while confetti rained down. It was magickal
Fibonacci sequence, strange time signatures, super difficult drum parts, yet you didn't think to just cut the bottom of the box open, stand it up and then slide the box off the top? Nope. Have to do everything in the most intricate way possible 😂 🤘☠️🤘
