Your kitchen looks great! I love the color! You don't have to apologize for the appearance of your meals or for them not being gourmet or elaborate. I hope you didn't receive cruel comments from people to prompt this. You are an amazing mom and work hard to provide wholesome healthy delicious homemade meals for your family. Besides which, they look delicious! Comfort food is the best. You did amazing for a healthy week much less when not feeling well and taking care of a sick family! You are a dynamo Jessica.
John saying his prayer is the absolute sweetest thing. We just had fridge dump fried rice last night. Delicious. Apple sauce cake later. Thank you lovely 🥰
Nothing bothers me more than food waste in this country. I love your creative meals that use up leftovers to make a healthy meal. Food is precious and should never be wasted.
As a 73 year old man I would like to take the time and opportunity to applaud you for your decision and convictions of dressing and modest and appropriate apparel. There are more men and women in this world than you realize that appreciate that!!! Plain is beautiful and very attractive. I would also like to applaud you for your drive and your determination to push forward even when you don't feel like doing so. You accomplish so much. The Bible refers to women such as yourself as being as rare as a Ruby..... and her husband as being blessed and that she brings honor to her husband in the manner in which she manages her house hold. I enjoy your videos and pray you and your family Gods blessings and guidance. We look forward to your videos and ideas. Thank you.
I admire how she turns leftovers into new meals like hey I planned this. Adam was hilarious in this video...and the little boys have this onery sweet look like my boys...it warms my heart.
Girl, stop apologizing! You are a wonder woman. I raised 6 kids on a ranch with a husband who worked the coal mines. I know how tough your job is & you're rockin" it. Really enjoy your meal preps.
Yes, I agree! I'm exhausted just watching! You're an inspiration on your worst day I'm sure. My friend just called and asked what I was doing. I said I'm watching that 3 rivers lady that I sent you, I'm obsessed and I've watched her all day 😃❤❤❤
I am sure she is apologizing cause she is reading crazy critical comments from people who have nothing else to say. I love how you do things and your voice is very calming. Blessed family❤🎉❤❤❤
Oh, Jessica! I can’t believe how rude people are when they have the shield of anonymity social media provides! It’s inexcusable and appalling! You are doing AMAZING things for your family and for those of us who appreciate good, healthy, home-cooked food! Your #threeriverschallenge has inspired me in so many ways! THANK YOU for all you do and for sharing your REAL meals for REAL families - cost- and waste-conscious, healthy, and from-scratch! I appreciate you!
Watching your intro today I was hoping that it wasn’t because someone had said something cruel. I’m a 53 yr old, Muslim, empty nester so definitely in a different chapter of life. I love the way your family all works together, the way y’all love each other and love The Lord. I may cook differently but have learned techniques, some great hacks from you, as well as time management. Your family is a a wonderful example of family life, some days roll like planned and other days don’t. Thanks for sharing your family with us, - -- as a Marylander Old Bay is a must. My kids especially love it on French fries and also popcorn. Also, great job putting this all together when your not feeling well, prayers that y’all are feeling much better.
@@joyceduesel7966 I’m Italian so we do eat lots of pasta. From my time spent in Morocco. I make a lot of tagines . I don’t like lamb but my kids eat a ton of it and love when I make it. Bastilla is my fav - chicken, ground almonds, cinnamon, and a few other spices, in layers of phyllo. Spices are key and anything can taste good when it’s full of flavor. We also eat a lot of seafood, especially because we live in Maryland. Moroccan culture is very rich and because of its proximity to Spain you will find a lot of Spanish influence, especially in the north. France occupied for some time so you will find that influence as well, especially in the pastries. Morocco was part of Spice Road and the markets have every spice you could want. I was just there and always come back with a suitcase of spices.
I pray you ignore that other person and continue living your life 😂 sorry for making light of prayer, but they were being rude. I was going to say the same thing you did, I hope she isn’t getting mean comments for sharing these fantastic videos!
@@jenniferoverturf1064 thank you 😊 I used to be FD and learned to turn the other cheek, especially after 9-11. I agree that Jessica does great videos. It’s such a pleasure to see her family dynamics and how recipes can be changed for various dietary needs. On Sundays the first thing I do for myself is check to see if her video is up, such a great way to start the day.
@@miss.baptist394 oh dear….. really? That’s what you came on here to say? Thankfully others have better manners and intentions than you. I wish you well and better thoughts on the future.
Jessica, I certainly hope no one has made any negative comments to you regarding what you feed your family and if they have, ignore the negative. What you choose to feed your family is your business. It may not work for someone else but what ever works for y'all is perfect! May God continue to bless and keep you, Adam and your family! 🙏❤
I think it’s sooo wonderful and the love you put in your homemade cooked meals and letting the children get involved in helping your love shines through ♥️♥️♥️
I belong to many Groups and there is always someone needing information on alternative eating Gluten Free, Dairy Free, etc and I always refer them to her channel. Its so helpful for so many struggling to find better ways to eat on a restricted diet. Oh and alot have a large household like Jessica and struggling with how to budget the groceries so another great thing and I refer them to Jessica as well. Anna In Ohio
You Are amazing. I get the idea that someone has critiqued your culinary skills 😂. You are one of the best cooks I have ever seen. Mainly your creativity with a tight budget and not wasting anything. You Also are an excellent teacher. I am 57 worked most of my career in kitchens. You my dear are in the top 5. Love you and your sweet family.
Jessica, you know what, i think your style of cooking is ingenious.. You waste nothing, everything is utilized in one way or another. Your children are fed nutritiously balanced meals every day. Please stop apologizing for not being a chef, you are a home cook and much more experienced than many of us in how to use foods with less waste. I do hope you are all feeling better, God bless you and yours, love from across the pond here in Australia, you are amazing.. I love your videos BTW..
Oh honey nobody is perfect. I am 72 and raised and homeschooled 6 children. Your cooking is an inspiration. Belly filling food is best. I had an aunt Gerty that my sister and I stayed with one summer. She was always apologizing for not putting fancier food on the table. It was home grown and home canned. It was delish. Fond memories of a young girl. Just sayen
Me all morning, "Alexa, what time is it in America now?"... ... "Alexa what time is it in Ohio now?" 🤣 I can't wait to start watching, just wanted to say a huge thank you again for the great videos, literally make my week! Just hate that England's time difference makes us ahead of you so I have to wait longer! lol!
Oh dried beef gravy over toast is one of my favorite meals, but I was the only one in my immediate family that liked it. I discovered Stouffer’s came out with a frozen dinner with chipped beef and gravy so I keep several of those in my freezer
Don't give the critics and the negative knuckleheads a second thought. You are doing amazing! You work tirelessly to care for your family and that, in and of itself is more of a blessing to the entire world than a gourmet, magazine-cover-photographed meal. Those who can't DO, criticize. 5 STARS!!!!!
I have had sickness in my house too, my husband and daughter tested positive for covid and now my son and myself are feeling rough and I am recovering from hand surgery. Sometimes it is a struggle when we don't feel well, but you did a great job feeding your family even if you weren't a 100%.
I hate to think what someone(s) put in the comments that lead to your 'disclaimer' at the beginning. To those Negative Nellies I ask, "Are you proud of yourself now???" I think you're doing amazingly well. Your level of knowledge on substitutions alone is jaw-dropping. I'm glad you're all feeling better. I was knocked down for most of December and you're absolutely right - there just wasn't energy for cooking. I ate leftovers while they lasted, then was left eating toast & oatmeal and drinking blackberry shrub...and it showed, as my recovery stalled. I finally called my sister and she started bringing prepared foods for me, and I enjoyed an almost immediate turn-around, although it still took over a week to feel 'human'. God bless each of you!!
I don't go on Instagram or other social media so I don't know what rude comments you may have received. My feeling is that you are a creative cook having to make multiple meals around family food restrictions and fill hungry tummies. Who can fault that? Does it really matter if your way of making something doesn't agree with the recipe my mother made? As long as your family enjoys what you make, and it is healthy and filling, you are getting the job done with creativity and thoughtfulness. I totally support you. Thanks for sharing.
i live in the city and don't have a lot of kitchen tools, but while i wouldn't be able to do this challenge to its full extent (regarding this level of food prep and canning), watching these challenges does inspire me to use up all the perishable and semi-perishable food i've had in my pantry for weeks at a time rather than impulse buy at the shopping center.
I just clicked on the pantry challenge # and I'm speechless! All the UA-camrs that are following the challenge! Look at what you have started Jessica. I'm proud of you and proud to follow along.
YUM! What great meal ideas and information. 99.9% of your subscribers are ABSOBLOOMINLUTELY IN AWE of you, Jessica. Having a UA-cam channel (or public forum of any kind) seems to open a bag of negative 🤔 commenters with no filters and little manners. PLEASE realize their 'negative' is about them, NOT who they attack. Truth. YOU DO YOU. We love it! 💜
Jessica i love your channel. For every 100 people you inspire, including me, there will always be 1 person who will be negative. Please, if you do not have something positive to say, don't say anything.
I saw some of the harsh comments you've received from people about your food, that you shared on Instagram. I am horrified that anyone would be so judgemental. You do a fabulous job cooking and providing for your family 💞!
Hey ms Jessica, thank you for all that you teach me. Much appreciated. You and your family are awesome, I know this internet isn’t always the nicest, and sadly that’s the world we live in. Anyway, you guys do a fantastic job in being a team and the love shows. Just wanted to share that with you. Peace and blessings.
This channel has been such a gift to me and my family and the pantry challenge is changing the way I feed my family in such a beautiful way. Thank you Jessica!!!
Have been enjoying watching your cooking. Those of us who learned 'traditional' cooking sometimes forget how to be creative. You have limited preconcieved ideasof what goes together and how things need to be cooked. Love it!
The pear juice in the pancakes was brilliant. It makes me think of a waffle recipe I’ve made before using hard apple cider for the liquid. I’m really enjoying participating in the pantry challenge. What a brilliant idea.
I thought her pear juice in the pancakes was brilliant too, but your hard apple cider sound fantastic too. Have you tried it as a marinate for pork? It is yummy. I'm thinking, pears would be good with pork too. Hum, good idea.
Hi Jessica - your intro comments made me wonder if you are getting criticism about your cooking, etc. My prayer for you is that God will encourage you to feel confident that you are doing GREAT, EXCEPTIONAL and most importantly living in OBEDIENCE to God. Be encouraged that you are such an inspiration to so many people - not because of your cooking techniques, but because of how you live your life. To those criticizing Jessica about cooking techniques - Open your eyes, step back and be inspired like the rest of us!!! (...and maybe DO something yourself???)
Love how the baby prays at meals, so so cute! Adam is quite a comedian, loved the hot chocolate silliness! Gracie's little buns hairdo was so cute! What a fantastic job you did while not feeling well and having sick children! Another wonderful share from you! I think the importance of not wasting anything is downplayed too much by most people and I love seeing you do that. I too use everything to the max! Thank you!
My favorite scene - 33:38 Adam's absolute focus on your son's conversation. Kids will appreciate all the things you do for them when they are older, but that attentiveness to their value will have the greatest impact. Great job guys. You are blessed.
You are an inspiration to do better at being less wasteful and I thank you for that. I love your wholesome and happy videos. I am a home canner but not on the same scale as you. I learned from my mom who did canning on a large scale. ❤
You did an AWESOME job putting together all this content even though you and your family were not feeling well. Thank you so much for your precious time. God Bless
I love how well all your children eat. They all eat the same foods, they eat on their own...it's refreshing. Many kids these days refuse to eat certain foods because they have gotten used to eating out and eating what they are in the mood for. It is not how I grew up nor how my children grew up. We are trying to teach our grandchildren the same way but it's more challenging. I love your channel and seeing your back to basics approach. I wish we could all go back to simpler, better times.
Jessica, I really appreciate what you do. How you provide healthy meals for your family and encourage your viewers. Please let the good comments outweigh the few negative comments. If someone doesn’t like your cooking or something you do, they can stop watching. I for one am learning so much about how you preserve food, teach your children and worship as a family. You have encouraged me and I just purchased my first canner.
I think you are amazing! I’m definitely not one to cook from scratch. My mom didn’t do too much of that, so I never have either. I honestly don’t enjoy it too much. I know you do it out of necessity, and that would be hard. But you do it with a happy heart. I’ve enjoyed watching you the last two weeks. You’ve given me quite a few ideas for dinners. Happy cooking!
I would love to know about how you get your bulk citrus order! That sounds like something our family would love! Thank you for another great week of inspiring meals. You encouraged me to make sprouts this week, and my kids loved them! I have had the supplies for awhile, but I was nervous to make them. Thank you for the push! I have my second batch growing now!
Making your own Sprouts was big in the 80's/90's. I made my own, UNTIL the Propaganda Machine started broadcasting that, "it was too Dangerous! You'll get food poisoning and kill someone!" No Joke! After that I started learning how to evaluate things logically for myself, considering Gods blessings to us, with that it led me to Abandoning Margarine during that same time. Since then I use my own judgement. I've always cooked the majority of our meals at home and continue to do so. I've done better than expected during the #ThreeRiversPantryChallenge and, since I still have my Mason Jar set up for growing Sprouts, I'm going to resume that practice. I join you all in learning about the Citrus Haul!😄✝️🙏🏼
Sometimes the simplest meal, snack or dessert is better than stuff with twenty steps & ingredients you can't pronounce. Your family is adorable. Hope you all start feeling better soon.
I have been ill with 1 thing after the other in January and when Mama doesn't feel well it is hard on everyone. You did great and didn't skip a beat! Rest when you can and thank you for sharing so many tips and inspiration ✨❤
I love the way you feed your family, the effort you put in to ensuring they eat the best possible is inspiring to me. I wish I had the means to do this for my family. You are great Jessica. I really do hope no one has upset you, you are lovely and don’t deserve any negative feelings sent your way ❤️🇬🇧
If it tastes good, fills tummies, and gets eaten then its PERFECT! Cook on! I love watching and seeing your cooking and canning no matter what it looks like 💚
I think it's sad that you felt you had to start your video by explaining your situation. People need to be thankful for what they have. They need to realize that there are people struggling. Weither it be because of sickness, budget or whatever is happening in their life. Just be grateful and stop judging. Walk a mile in a person shoes before you cast judgement. I think it is wonderful all you accomplish. Your meals look wonderful. Great job. ❤ I forgot to mention. I love that color with the white trim! Your kitchen looks amazing!
Girl! You have the courage of a lion and the love of trying anything. I hope to do that moving forward and saving money. So at 61 I am getting ready to start preserving and freezing items.
The kitchen looks great. So glad everyone is on the mend. I couldn’t help noticing how many lefties you have. I’m a lefty , have 3 children and didn’t get a lefty until grand baby # 13. Blessings to you all!
I always keep 3 homemade freezer meals in my freezer for when I'm not feeling well. Lasagna Meatloaf Cooked chicken breast Cooked ground beef Roasted chicken Marinated chicken This allows me to just thaw and reheat or throw something together really quick.
Yes! I keep cooked taco meat and chicken in my freezer. I can easily dump some tomatoes, beans, onion, seasonings, etc in a pot with the taco meat and we have taco soup in 15 minutes. I turn the chicken into some kind of chicken veggie or chicken enchilada soup.
I call them emergency meals! Def a must in this house. Wonderful for illness or quick meals or emergencies whatever they may be. Great idea for having 3 diff freezer meals available. What do u do if i didn't thaw it out from the night before though? Does it just take longer to bake? Ty
@@CG-mj8tk yes, they take longer to bake. But if you have an instapot the warming up time it takes to start cooking will act as a defrost time. In the oven just put it in at 300 fir 30 minutes than bump up the temperature
I make fridge dump soup too. I like to start a bag in the freezer where I put any leftovers that would be good in a soup and wait til it's full enough to make soup. It always has multiple kinds of meat and veggies, even multiple types of broth. But it's always delicious.
Thank u for sharing your life with us! I love your videos, they are so inspiring and encouraging. It’s refreshing to see a mama of so many children bring healthy, home grown, nutritious meals to the table! I have gotten so many ideas from your meal planning. God bless you and your beautiful, beautiful family. ❤~Mara
You are amazing! Sick and still care for your family the way you do. I understand you cook according to your tastes and family's needs, but I do not know if I could be as creative as you. I see the way you make cheeses and sauces. Just things I never would know. Your children have to be so much more healthy than most. Thank you because watching your pantry challenge has taught me to try new things. God bless.
No apologies are necessary. You are wonderful & do a fantastic job. Its the toughest job ever & you make it look easy. If there are haters in the comments, then it's on them. And has nothing to do with YOU!
When my parents married in 1949, she was only 18 and he was only 23. Mom went on to teach herself how to can, and do virtually every craft there was to do. Overtime our family grew to 5 children. She sewed many of my clothes, Halloween costumes etc, cooked dinner every day from scratch, canned, froze, preserved etc during the Summers...really taught herself every thing. I have followed in her footsteps in many ways, but I only have 2 children :) Well done Jessica 🥰❄☃☔🌞🏜✝💗
I love watching your channel. I am the youngest of 11 children. My mom was so creative when cooking as well. She made her own versions of hamburger helper. Salmon Pattie’s were popular in our home growing up too.
I make salmon patties from my home canned salmon. In the past I would can the salmon we caught. But now with all the restrictions on catching salmon here on the southern oregon coast. I found that when our Safeway has a great sale on whole salmon filets. Usually farm raised that I hate to eat broiled etc. Too mushy. They work great to can. So that is what I have done the past couple of years. So now I have a bunch of jars of home canned salmon on my pantry shelves. I put gluten free/dairy free dried bread crumbs, that I had maklde into my homemade "shake and bake" crumbs. And I use that. Along with eggs from my chickens, and salt and pepper. We usually have them 3 times a month. I also make patties out of my home canned tuna. I buy those off the boats during tuna season here. I like to use different seasonings and flavors in my home canned tuna also. It's fun to be creative with my canning.
Oh my goodness I am so glad you pointed out- the butternut squash "water" so often folks will throw that away! It is liquid gold in soups/sauces! Lovely
Are you getting nasty comments? My experience with life is, it's easy to criticise others when in reality none of us are perfect. We can only do our best and your, just managing.. well it's better than most peoples best. chin up and ignore them. You do better than the majority, that's a massive achievement. ❤
I love to learn from you, please do not listen if someone has something ugly to say. Your subscriber count and positive comments are all you need to see to know how much we all appreciate you!
Those pearbutter-rolls look very yummy! 🥰 Great idea - I never thought of using jelly/jam instead of cinammon. I hope all of you feel well again, soon. 🍀 AND OH WOW!!! The freshly painted kitchen! 🤩
Oh my gosh. Little Ben (hope i got that right) praying before dinner covering his little eyes. That was so precious. I’m not religious myself but that just made my heart melt.
You’re probably getting tired of me commenting on everything but I just have to tell you I’m so inspired by your heart, your family, your homemaking. I am literally rearranging my kitchen set up as I type this to make it more kid friendly so they can be part of all the cooking experiences. I would have my kids help but I’m taking it up a notch and basically creating a home ec experience this semester so we can really focus on our family dynamic in a different way. Thank you for sharing with us! -Julie
I can’t believe you cooked so many full meals with sides. I got sick a couple weeks ago and ate nothing but frozen waffles. I had no energy and they were softer than crackers. I can’t imagine cooking and taking care of sick babies and being sick yourself. I also really liked that you showed real life and real cooking. People are so worried about things having to be perfect or they don’t count. But making do is how most of us live and cook. Especially on a budget. Especially when trying a new recipe. Great video and some great cooking inspiration. I never thought to use pear juice for flavoring and nutrition! Hope everyone is feeling better!
Everything looks so good!! I am also gluten free, along with our 11 year old, but the rest of our fam is not, so when I make biscuits & gravy, our oldest and I eat our sausage gravy over skillet friend potatoes & scrambled eggs.
I woke up at 4:30 this morning for no apparent reason so I was just enjoying your videos. I was watching your most recent meal prep vid and you where making egg salad. It looked so good that I was like self: " we have eggs and bread in the house and that sounds really good for breakfast this morning" So hubby and I had coffee and egg salad sandwiches for breakfast before he left for work. Thank you so much for the inspiration.
One thing I've done is make a hamburger mix with onions, garlic, celery, and carrots. I freeze dried the mix and alloted in 2 cup packages. I'm just getting over Covid and severe pregnancy morning sickness. However, during the worst of my illness I grabbed some of this freezer dried hamburger mix and added broth, potatoes, and seasoning. My husband added frozen veggies as we ate on it to mix it up. Such a blessing! Saved me a ton of energy! Freeze dried meat mixes are awesome!
I am just loving this. Our freezer was so full and I had so much stuff. We came home from our kids' houses on Jan 6, and started the challenge. This week we rearranged things in the freezer because we knew we had used stuff and wanted to see what we should use next. Just after that someone arrived with FIVE pork loins for us to share with others. We put them at least temporarily in the freezer, and they all fit! God is so good. We would have had a big problem otherwise. Yesterday was chilly for us, and so I canned jars of salsa from some #10 cans of San Marzano tomatoes I'd had for a couple of years. Wonderful. Thank you for spurring us on to more creativity and may the Lord BLESS you richly.
Currently I can’t have dairy, eggs, or peanuts - your work around recipes are refreshing. Thank you for sharing the day to day food the fills bellies. Your comments on nutrition are very helpful. I don’t preserve food so a challenge like this would be challenging but you have encouraged me to look for things that should be used up - finally opened a random can of palm hearts!
Such wonderful meal ideas. I have dietary restrictions due to autoimmune issues and I appreciate other ideas to add more variety. Thank you I’ve really had fun with the pantry challenge. I’m eating sprouts now and that bit of freshness has been very welcome.
These meals look absolutely delicious, beautiful, and heart warming! If i weren’t allergic to cashews, i would loooove to try that lasagna and biscuit and gravy recipe
LOVE the kitchen color! I don't eat a lot of grapefruit, but instead of sugar, I sprinkle salt over it instead of sugar (I also like salt on watermelon and cantaloupe).
Haha! That's husbonds for you' :-) My husband puts all kinds of things on his food to give it an extra 'puff'. Hot sauces, ketchup, all kinds of pickled stuff, spice-mix'es, sun-dried tomatoe's in oil, jalapenos, mustard, kesam, and he's an expert in eating all the little bits and bobs that are left in jars in the fridge... And I am SO impressed by your children! They are very good at eating their vegetables. But then again... you are marvellous at making the veggies so that they taste good for them! I hope you all feel better soon
I am absoloutely fascinated how you do your food for your family. Bravo to you… everyone does just fine don’t they!! I love your videos and look foreward to seeing more stuff re: how and why you do your food like you do… pure food… no dairy, basically no sugar… just healthy good food… no frills, nothing fancy, but done with love and Grace. Your nurturing spirit of motherhood shines dearest❣️Sending love, peace, and health to you and yours always❣️♥️❣️🥰‼️I think you are just so dang cool!!XXOO♥️‼️
I love your opening comments. And down to earth gentle nature. You are right to defend yourself. It is all too easy for your audience to make blunt and unfeeling comments as the audience may be used food channel meals and not real life ones lol. Keep up the good work and feel better.
You do you! I grew up making something from nothing to fill siblings bellies and same early marriage with littles. Never ever apologize for your life! NEVER. We all love your video's and we all learn something new from each video! I am 65 and you inspire me with every video. Creating soups is one of my most favorite things to do.. I save everything to make something else. 2 oct 2024
Jessica, I'm so impressed with you and how you feed your lovely family. My daughter in law has Celiacs and will be planning to have children soon. Her biggest fret is how to feed her family and herself. I'm going to direct her to your channel so she can get some confidence in dealing with "keeping bellies full" and keeping herself healthy at the same time. Also, I love your kitchen and the new color! Also impressive it that you do what works for you and your family, your kitchen your rules and that includes your paint color! You're doing great!
Gosh, I hope you aren't getting harassed about your meals. You are awesome Jessica! I am so thankful that you share what you do. You inspire me!! I have learned so much from you. Ignore any haters.
Jessica you are an amazing momma. Your meals always look yummy and yes it’s about filling belly’s. You just have to get creative with what you have in your home and I love how you do that. Sometimes the best meals are created that way. I love your videos and always look forward to what’s next on your menus. I hope your family starts feeling better soon. Great idea with cookie cutter to make patties, I will try that next time. Bless your sweet family.
So glad y'all are feeling better. I felt so bad for you. Your meals looked great. The kids did enjoy them especially little Ben. Lol. Love your sweet family.
I worked into the night on organizing my pantry. Tonight I'm moving stuff around and scrubbing the floor. And adding some more cans of food that I bought in town today. Tonight I'm canning potatoes and tomatoes, because it's cooler then so I don't heat up the house. My garden potatoes are looking so wonderful! Blossoms! I'm sorry that you're feeling ill, but you wouldn't know it with all that you do.
I annoyed my husband last Sunday after watching your video by going on and on about how impressive your frugality and "work arounds" are and how much I just admire your mothering, lol. I so much appreciate your willingness to show everything your feeding your family! Thank you
Thank you for sharing your home life, your cooking, your children, and your husband too! I appreciate your opening your home, your honesty and faith journey. You’re doing a great job in your kitchen culinary preparation.

Sunday soup! I just saw that on your Instagram. I’m pretty sure I’m stealing that for our Sunday lunches.
I used the soup for Sunday lunch idea last week. It is a great!

I agree with Linda Smith... Your DOING AWESOME 😎😎😎👍♥️🥰
1year later 🎉I just found this channel a few days ago and agreed wonderful mum.
How do you cook? What do you eat? Share your culture with us. Please
This!! Her family is loved and fed, that's what matters. People are too critical to others
Yes, there are negative people in this world who are difficult to please, never be happy and will end up alone. We need to pray for them. Sad.
You
Are amazing. I get the idea that someone has critiqued your culinary skills 😂. You are one of the best cooks I have ever seen. Mainly your creativity with a tight budget and not wasting anything.
You
Also are an excellent teacher. I am 57 worked most of my career in kitchens.
You my dear are in the top 5.
Love you and your sweet family.
I appreciate your modesty, but everything you make looks DELICIOUS and very filling in reasonable portions. Your family is adorable!
Just hate that England's time difference makes us ahead of you so I have to wait longer! lol!
Pizza cutter for pancakes?! Where have I been all my life?! Genius!
I use it for waffles and toast when making kids dried beef gravy over toast
Hope you feel better soon! 🙏👍We had Covid through December not fun.
Take care. We all started our new year with covid. Fun times. Not.
Hope you all recover quickly. 👍🤗
I tell ya, your children are adorable, polite and I especially love that their pray full……I enjoyed this video very much.
Amen to that!!!🙏🕊🕊🙏Janie D
Your children are beautiful. Makes my mama heart happy to see your babies tthriving. :)
Little John John enjoying that lasagna was just too cute!
Thank you!
Ditto That!
My favorite scene - 33:38 Adam's absolute focus on your son's conversation. Kids will appreciate all the things you do for them when they are older, but that attentiveness to their value will have the greatest impact. Great job guys. You are blessed.
I am just a fan. I'm 74 and just enjoy you, your recipes and especially your children. Thank you for who you are. Bless you
You are an inspiration to do better at being less wasteful and I thank you for that. I love your wholesome and happy videos. I am a home canner but not on the same scale as you. I learned from my mom who did canning on a large scale. ❤
I love Old Bay seasoning on top of homemade potato 🥔 chips as well 😆
Take a bow for your little ones' table manners, my friend. They appear to be polite and respectful, too. Very sweet.
Happy cooking!
oh my gosh the baby saying grace with the girls was adorable.... he covers his eyes.... too sweet
👶🏼😇✝️🙏🏼
26:01 baby saying grace too!!🥺❤️
I would love to know about how you get your bulk citrus order! That sounds like something our family would love! Thank you for another great week of inspiring meals. You encouraged me to make sprouts this week, and my kids loved them! I have had the supplies for awhile, but I was nervous to make them. Thank you for the push! I have my second batch growing now!
I’d love to know where the bulk citrus order comes from too.
Same
Yes would love to know about where to order bulk citrus
I came to ask about where the bulk citrus comes from too!
Oh my heart!!! That precious baby "saying" grace. That brought tears to my eyes. Children are so precious!
I love the way you feed your family, the effort you put in to ensuring they eat the best possible is inspiring to me. I wish I had the means to do this for my family. You are great Jessica. I really do hope no one has upset you, you are lovely and don’t deserve any negative feelings sent your way ❤️🇬🇧
I love the colour of the kitchen. Everything you aye this week looked yummy. David's pizzas looked delicious. 👌
Hi Jessica ; I’m so enjoying your channel;Family videos; You are so encouraging to me 😀 Thanks for sharing ❤️
Everyone of your meals look so delicious!🙏❤️🙏❤️☮️
You are a blessing to your family and don’t need to explain anything to anybody you are doing GREAT 👌🏾🙂
If it tastes good, fills tummies, and gets eaten then its PERFECT!
Great job. ❤
I forgot to mention. I love that color with the white trim! Your kitchen looks amazing!
Loved Adams white mustache and him smiling .
Girl! You have the courage of a lion and the love of trying anything. I hope to do that moving forward and saving money. So at 61 I am getting ready to start preserving and freezing items.
Hi Jessica. Pear juice in pancake mix sounds fun! I'm going to try that.
The kitchen looks great. So glad everyone is on the mend. I couldn’t help noticing how many lefties you have. I’m a lefty , have 3 children and didn’t get a lefty until grand baby # 13. Blessings to you all!
13 grand babies!!! You are so blessed!
I always keep 3 homemade freezer meals in my freezer for when I'm not feeling well.
Lasagna
Meatloaf
Cooked chicken breast
Cooked ground beef
Roasted chicken
Marinated chicken
This allows me to just thaw and reheat or throw something together really quick.
Me too-I prefer keeping it so I can use in a variety of ways
I call them emergency meals! Def a must in this house. Wonderful for illness or quick meals or emergencies whatever they may be. Great idea for having 3 diff freezer meals available. What do u do if i didn't thaw it out from the night before though? Does it just take longer to bake? Ty
@@CG-mj8tk yes, they take longer to bake. But if you have an instapot the warming up time it takes to start cooking will act as a defrost time. In the oven just put it in at 300 fir 30 minutes than bump up the temperature
@@jenniferrosario1489 ty!
I make fridge dump soup too. I like to start a bag in the freezer where I put any leftovers that would be good in a soup and wait til it's full enough to make soup. It always has multiple kinds of meat and veggies, even multiple types of broth. But it's always delicious.
I love your videos and that it's your real life... not a scripted show. Thank you for sharing.
I love leftovers and combining leftovers to make exciting adventurous meals. Sometimes they are amazing, sometimes not, but I love the variety!
AND OH WOW!!! The freshly painted kitchen! 🤩
me too
Oh my gosh. Little Ben (hope i got that right) praying before dinner covering his little eyes. That was so precious. I’m not religious myself but that just made my heart melt.
Came to say this exactly! Soo precious
We have popcorn and watch AFV on Sundays too! So cool!
Hi Jessica. I enjoy your videos. You are such an inspiration and positive example for young mothers to watch. Such a beautiful person.
Your husband is funny! We have been dehydrating orange, tangerine, and lemon slices and adding them to hot water for a no-caffeine tea.
I get a kick out of Adam too!😂
Currently I can’t have dairy, eggs, or peanuts - your work around recipes are refreshing.
Gosh my dad did also!!! I was surprised to see this comment and it gave me that warm “ miss you dad”” feeling… thanks for sharing that♥️‼️
And btw, do you know that you very easily can make gluten free soya sauce at home..? ua-cam.com/video/mwDP_rPKwwU/v-deo.html :-)
2 oct 2024
Thank you for the encouragement ❤️
I so enjoy watching you!
I have no idea how you do all that you do!
God Bless you, and your family!
I love the paint color you used in the kitchen!!! It looks great 😊
Jessica you are an amazing momma.
You must get up at the crack of dawn! You’re inspiring to me!
So glad y'all are feeling better. I felt so bad for you. Your meals looked great. The kids did enjoy them especially little Ben. Lol. Love your sweet family.
Enjoy all your videos. Learning lots from you. I retired and so am cooking from scratch more. I'm happy that its healthier and cheaper.
