At this point, it is the thought that counts, because whatever my loved ones get me is not going to be something I really need and have had my eye on for a while. What really matters is knowing they thought of me while they were doing their shopping. The corollary is that when you buy something for a man over 30, don't get offended yourself if you never see that gift again. It completed its usefulness when it was opened.

My only experience with this show is UA-cam recommending clips from when members from 8 out of 10 Cats Do Countdown are on and I can say with 100% confidence that the entire allure of this show is the two hosts being self-conscious and condescending toward their guests whiles their guests take an attitude of "This whole shit show is boring as all hell. Let's have some fun with it" and viewers get to watch those hosts get put in their place

I kinda feel like it's in a bit poor taste to use harshly descriptive expressions like "ravaging his body" when describing his battle with Cancer. Can't say for sure, but if he was my father and I read that I'd be a bit hurt by the imagery I get when reading it. 😕
