This jingle had no business slapping this hard. I still remember my 4th grade class memorized the words and would spontaneously burst into song with it together, including our teacher! 😭❤️❤️
When I saw this in the time, it always brought me into a mood. It often lead me into an even aesthetic mood when I did some designs. The music also helped a lot as well.
apparently somebody's taking credit where it shouldn't be due that song was not written by the people with Coca-Cola that was a Bible song from way back and where it says always Coca-Cola it was Adam and Eve in the garden of Eden
oh my God apparently nobody seems to know that we're this song came from it was not originally a Coca-Cola song they did not write it they rewrote it it was a song about the Bible
@@dockane2 I co-wrote this jingle with Jon Nettlesbey and it was not re-written and it has nothing to do with the Bible. It is an original song we wrote for the Coca-Cola Always campaign back in 1993.

Rene Astle Unfortunately, that’s not how it works. As amazing as it would be to get a retro revival trend brought back to the modern day, those days are long gone. A lot of the reason the 90s worked because of the lack of technology available to us.
Rene Astle dint get me wrong, I’d LOVE the 80s and 90s to be mainstream again. Just think the world has become too far removed from those magical days. I’m 36, and the only thing that keeps me connected to my childhood is collecting things that remind me of the good old days, be it toys, magazines, or other memories. Everything about life in 2020 pales in comparison to the 90s to me, from the TV shows, to the music, to the carefree attitude. People live their lives through social media and the convenience of streaming media now, which is a real shame - the fact everyone is a content creator in this current age is both a blessing and a curse.

This is why Coca Cola Amital is struggling today. THIS is how you sell a product and by God back in the 90s, it worked. I remember this ad being on when my parents owned a deli and guess what? Our big seller was 500ml & 2ltr cold bottles of... Coca Cola. I'm hooked on the stuff to this very day. All my classmates in school loved it, my parents loved it... every body loved the stuff because of marketing like THIS. ⬆️
There was a coke ad running in Pakistan in the 90s which had the same jingle but with Urdu lyrics. I guess this jingle was replicated by Coca-Cola globally and differentiated for their various markets.
Does anyone know where I can find the Christmas version of this. I actually saw it on a videotape recording that has lots of episodes of The Simpson. It use to belong to my brother but to this day I still have it.
@@mackenzierough Yeah, and I don't feel like fast forewarding all these episodes for that one commercial in mind. I don't even want to watch all of them especially since I have almost every episode on demand.

Why on earth did they ever discontinue this? This was the best ad campaign ever.
They switched advertising agencies, for my decades it was McCann Erickson New York and then WPP got the account and ruined the advertising!
I cant help but apply the lyrics "shot through the heart, and you're to blame" to this 😂 its too similar
