god damn, he spitting this shit flawlessly, how many rappers can spit such intricate rhymes live without getting out of breath or having a hypeman say every 4th word. he's going straight back to back aswell no bullshit minute pauses between each song..
im the kid in the front row with the power rangers/rugrats raver looking bracelets on. With a blue neo geo hat. Only time Doom has ever been in Cincinnati.
That’s crazy man RIP DOOM it’s so crazy to me you got to witness scribble jam AND DOOM live I’m 23 so I missed that whole 2000-2006ish period of hip hop (and obviously the 90s) and it fucking sucks but I love reading ppls recollections at events like these so quick question: Was MF DOOM already considered a “legend” at this point or was he still solidifying himself and what was the environment like in the building? Were there any battles that day or was this like it’s own thing

Thanks for sharing that, Doom is my favorite producer of all time next to The Rza. I uploaded this video cause Doom was ill in this performance I wish I was there.
Thanks for this upload! I was at this show it was the seriously probably the pinnacle of my hip hop live experiences. This was the first time I got to see doom live. I bought revolutionaries vol2 from immortal technique himself, for $10 and I was fucking hammered all day. Those were the days
Not many rappers can do this, this dude just spit barz for 10 minutes or 9 and 1/2 minutes straight, you got to give this nigga his propz, dis mask villain got skillz
I'm not going to take anything away from rappers like Eminem, Jay-Z, or Lil Wayne, on who would be considered the G.O.A.T but MF Doom is hands down one of the greatest and completely underrated as an artist. I think i'm still amazed that he doesn't get much radio play and his flow is amazing. Definitely hard to beat his lyrics, i'd still even consider him underground to this day.
Me and my crew used to go to Scribble Jam around this time to paint graffiti for the event. For some reason we missed this year.I have been a fan of Doom since the KMD.Wish I could have seen this...Truly one of the greats
Dope defined, DOOM dying rhymes tie dye for them hippy hot thots and dukes, keeps tha mask lukes for tha 2 like a shy guy....But fck Super Mario, this is tha SUPER VILLIAN!
