Doubt it. She is from Brazil, right? Last i remember, the US is strict on enforcing visas and approving citizenship. Especially Brazilian women. She have to get some powerful political friends or they would have to marry American men. Even marriage is hard tho bc during the investigation phase they are under intense surveillance and scrutiny bc it's automatically assumed they are only marrying for citizenship aka fraud.
Anyone who treats people the way they would want to be treated is a great person.
Dawn Staley is great coach but an even greater person. She deserves all the success she has achieved and God is well pleased.

Real fans saw this when it was posted but espn was too busy posting Caitlyn Clark highlights. Meanwhile this South Carolina team had its own story about hardwork and dedication. This girl moved away from her family for since she was 15 havent held them or hugged in years. For her to go after her goals in a country where you don’t even speak the language at first is amazing. The day after this Cardoso hit the game winner over Tennessee to advance with her mom and sister watching her for the first time. This was the perfect story.
