This is why I don't want to hear crap about these other teams that don't want to put money into their teams. The Dodgers are one of the few teams that are putting money into their team.
Yes, but what you big market fans never mention is that I would estimate 20 of the 30 teams in MLB don’t have the revenue stream to go much above 150-175 million, which even at that payroll is only half the amount the Mets and Dodgers are spending. Trust me, if the Dodgers only had the Brewers revenue, the Dodgers would not have the huge payroll they do. No owner is going out spend their revenue 2-1. I admit several teams could spend more, but don’t make it sound like most teams could ever go above 200 mil, it’s just not possible. Under the current rules, the Mets and Dodgers have the right to spend what ever they want, no doubt there, but don’t blame small market fan’s for complaining about the huge differences in not only payroll but the ability to compete even for those teams that do try to spend to their limits. Several have outspent their revenues at times, Minnesota the last couple of seasons have greatly out spent what their revenue, and it got them nothing, and now are now trying to sell off players to get back to reasonable spending.

The NFL is clearly a better product and guess what, they still have a salary cap. NBA teams paying bench players 18 million a year to give you 4 minutes a night is nuts. Most NFL cities have had their team in the playoffs at least once in the last 10 years, can't say the same thing for MLB cities. No one wants to see a strike again in baseball but eventually you will have 6 teams that spend like crazy and control your playoff picture year in and year out.
Vladdy, Polar Bear & Mad Max to the 51st state and its capital Toronto. Bring it on home. Bring it on home. yea, yea, yea ,yea , yea.....
Get out of here, we will never be the 51st state!
The only people that thinks Toronto is relevant is people that live in the Buffalo area.
Let's gooooo
I don't understand why the dodgers should pay the old, underperforming Arenado money. muncy is much better player for cheap money right now. no way to trade cost controlled, loyal muncy for washed Arenado.
Robert to Dodgers not Nolan.
Brasier SSSSTINKS ON ICE!!!!
And Bobby Miller’s a broken toy. But if LA gets ARENADO for a couple of those tomato cans, that’s 10 Xmases come early in LA.
