That proves that MJR isn't a scumbag reseller. Most would've bought everything and STILL tried to have gotten a better deal. Instead, he grabbed what he wanted at HER price, then told her what to do with the rest. #SaveTheGames
John Riggs: RIGG'd Games I think the best option for MJR to do there is to buy all of the boxed Nintendo stuff while he was there for the cheap price and bring them to Kelsey at Pink Gorilla and sell to her for what he paid. Lady doesn't have to drive to Seattle and Kelsey probably gets a better deal on the games.
I appreciate you saying that. I think some people don't know how Craigslist works where all the risk is on ME because it's not like I could test them and the seller sets the price. I basically saved all the games I could afford from the fire :)
MetalJesusRocks I understand where you're coming from. I would basically be buying them for the box on the Nintendo games. Those are much harder to find than the actual cartridge. Hopefully she does bring them into Kelsey :)
Reggie is seriously the best guest you have next to Kelsey. Reggie and you just gel together and you really should have him on as much as possible, these pick up videos are some of my favorite.
Love these! I barely watch any video game related content anymore, but your passion and ability to find unique games that have gone down the rabbit hole is incredible! Not sure if you ever read these Jason, but you do an amazing job! Come visit us in Canada sometime if we have a gaming expo. Thanks for all your work brother (and Reggie). You guys do indeed "rock". :)
Guys, honestly. One of the best vlogs yet. The pace is on point, good chemistry and great finds. What I like so much are the games MJR has because I can relate to them. And the picks Reggie has are great because they are in my personal 'obscure' line of games. Really cool to see such great games shown as a discovery for me. And to top it off it is great to see you guys compliment each other about these titles, like you bought each others top picks :D
Same here.. and the thing that really gives me goosebumps is, what games *did* she have a chance to burn?? Just really hoping there wasn't any one-off prototypes in her hands.
This is why I love Metal Jesus Rocks and Reggie game pick-ups. Great quality, content and that level of surprise of what's coming next. Great upload guys love it!
Mad respect to you guys for your love of games and collecting. My own collection isn't near yours but I've gotten a few gems over the years as well. Great taste in games as well. Xenosaga was a great series that unfortunately didn't finish like it should have.
I am so ADDICTED to these pickup vids. I absolutely love being introduced to so many games I haven't heard of as well as seeing awesome games that I have heard of. I hope you don't stop doing these :)
Glad to hear you got The Binding of Issac! It is one of the best, if not the best, retro-inspired indie games out. I've been considering a switch for the sole purpose of having The Binding of Issac on the go. I think that's the only physical version too. Double plus good!
People used to cut the UPC codes out and mail them to the game companies to register their video game. If they registered enough, the customer might get a t-shirt or something. You would fill out a short survey along with sending the UPC code. This was a way for game companies to see what kind of people (gender, age group, etc.) were buying their games back in the day.
I can testify about some of the games that some people think are "worthless"....several years ago I was walking back from a grocery run when I saw a box beside a public trash receptacle Open the box up and I see a bunch of PS1 games. NOT sports titles but nearly all RPGs. So I grabbed the box and put it on my cart to take home, thinking that at worst, I could use the cases because I assumed they were empty. They weren't. When I got home and started going through the stuff I found that, not only were they all there but that the discs didn't have a scratch on them. This was Tales of Destiny, Lunar Silver Star Story Complete, Breath of Fire 4, Beyond the Beyond, Castlevania SotN, Final Fantasy Tactics, FF8 and a bunch more, and also a Final Fantasy II (4, SNES) just the cart. Around the time I found them (2012) I estimated there was about $1K worth of games there. Just laying beside a trash can.
I did keep what I wanted to keep, but the other stuff (where I had duplicates or just wasn't interested in them) I sold off to fund a new motherboard, graphics card, hard drive and memory. That way, someone else benefits from my luck and I got to upgrade my computer.
If one wants to play them, absolutely nothing. But generally, sports titles do not hold much value to a collector and thus, after a few years most can be had for a few dollars (most, not all, like in the case of the NES classic Tecmo Bowl). The games I found in this box were nearly all classic and/or rare PS1 JRPGs, most of which are highly sought-after from both a player and a collector's market.
I Find Myself Watching This For Hours On End!! So Motivating To See How Everyone On Your Channel Is Collecting New Old Games. Keep Doing What You Do Metal Jesus And Radical Reggie!!
Man I freakin' LOVE REGGIE! Such a genuine and awesome dude. These pickup videos are just so fantastic. I was smiling and even laughing along during this whole video. A lot of fun!
I didn't know about the Hyperlight Drifter physical release until this video! Bought it as soon as you guys brought it up. This is why I love watching these game pickup vids!
I have been looking forward very much to the next MJR pickups video so i am way way happy it was time for another one. Love these videos! Awesome stuff! Enjoy your games fellow gameheads and keep on going strong! :)
One of my favorite pickup videos. I usually have them on in the background while working but I watched every second of this one. Also I really need a snow cone machine now for some reason.
Unfortunately, the human race is full of such folly. She chose not to look them up before Jason mentioned it to her. Not the smartest behavior, but it happens millions of times a day all over the world.
Love your videos man always a joy to watch!🤘🏻 I'm a collector and I love seeing what other cool games are out there to add to my library. I recently picked up a gen 1 PS3 for $125 and am so happy with it! I just beat an awesome hidden gem heavenly sword and I would never have known about it if it wasn't for your videos! I think I've seen most if not all and you're the real hidden gem of UA-cam! Keep up the good work my dude 🤘🏻
The amount of money Reggie could save without wasting money on games that are just junk... I collect games only the ones that I am going to actually play not just hoard everything that's cheap.
Great video, I love the stories behind finding these games. It's actually inspired me to start hunting in the past few months. I scored a working FZ-10 3DO for $25, several games much cheaper than their value, and my current pride and joy a boxed NES Deluxe Set almost complete (missing the little gyro discs), fully working for $40.
It's funny MJR, you guys drive an hour and it's a big deal I guess. Come to Texas. A one hour drive is a leisure. Love the channel. Thanks for all that you and friends do.
I like how your crew looks out for each other ,if Reggie sees a title he knows you gonna like he double buys it and for other members too that's love .
It's a shame that lady burned all those things, but the fact that people do stuff like that is the main reason the collectible market for games even exists.
You probably already know this but Clover are technically still around. They changed their name to Platinum Games, the makers of Bayonetta, Metal Gear Rising, etc.
So I've been checking Windy X Windam on Amazon after this video was posted. Sure enough, 10 left yesterday, and now temporarily out of stock. Same thing happened with Granada on Sega Genesis which used to be cart only at $10+shipping. Not complaining as that's the nature of the UA-cam era of videos like this. Just an interesting observation!
Reggie - Thanks for the mention of Retro Freak of being able to use a fan patch for translations, I'm sold now - Metal Jesus, thanks for having Radical Reggie as a regular !
I love your pickup vids, especially the ones with your awesome guests! I like the whole way that you shoot unscripted footage during them, but then put some polish on them in production. Gives them a great friendly feel, like I'm hanging out with you guys in the game room while you check out your latest scores.
Reggie! I just picked up the Nonary Games on vita (US import, europe's release is delayed for some reason) finally getting to play the zero escape games - 999 was tricky to find on DS in the EU. Also started steins;gate, loving it - but only because I stuck to it...
havnt seen one of your videos in forever. Love the new intro glad your back to your roots and not ebegging :)

Duke Nukem 3D was my first multiplayer experience. Some how mind blowing. I enjoy a lot of these game pickups videos. Many games I have ever heard and also games which I have heard and more better played those also. Thank you about these.
REGGIE DUDE!! Thanks for sporting the RETRO GP Hat!! Man I can't believe some lady was burning those games! If only she had a Snow Cone machine she would Chill Out!!! hahaha
That proves that MJR isn't a scumbag reseller. Most would've bought everything and STILL tried to have gotten a better deal. Instead, he grabbed what he wanted at HER price, then told her what to do with the rest. #SaveTheGames
John Riggs: RIGG'd Games riggs! 👍🏾
I'd-a ebay'ed 'em fer sure.
John Riggs: RIGG'd Games I think the best option for MJR to do there is to buy all of the boxed Nintendo stuff while he was there for the cheap price and bring them to Kelsey at Pink Gorilla and sell to her for what he paid. The Dude yep, I agree!!
Agree too. I see these two in the thumbnail, I click. Would love to see them play through a game just chillin.
A great time as usual 🤜🏻🔥🤛🏾
Radical Reggie Man that hat looks legit too!! ;)
Hey! I have that same hat!!
Always a pleasure having Reggie over into the Game Room. You ROCK dude! :)
John Riggs: RIGG'd Games Heck ya buddy they are limited to less than 200!! I'll eventually make more but I'll change the design. Keep It Retro! !
metal Jesus rocks
The quote "One Man's trash is another mans treasure" rings so true in life.
Nothing beats the Radical Regie & MJR fistbump!
digitalphil - Rumor has it that a fistbump between Metal Jesus and Reggie caused the tsunami that hit Japan back in 2011.
I'm a new patron thank you for everything u do and getting me back in touch with my inner child
+Loyd Ivester thanks so much for the support!! I really appreciate it

My heart damn near jumped out of my chest hearing about burning those games. I would have bought them all and sold the rest to pink gorilla myself.
i would've been like "i'll BUY you firewood, just give me the goddamn games." crazy bitch.
Same here.. and the thing that really gives me goosebumps is, what games *did* she have a chance to burn?? Just really hoping there wasn't any one-off prototypes in her hands.
I don’t think she burned the actual carts, just the boxes and manuals.
She is a ducking idiot
This is why I love Metal Jesus Rocks and Reggie game pick-ups. Great quality, content and that level of surprise of what's coming next. Great upload guys love it!
I used to do Craig's list and I still do a little bit but I'm finding most of my deals on the Facebook marketplace now.
Mad respect to you guys for your love of games and collecting. My own collection isn't near yours but I've gotten a few gems over the years as well. Great taste in games as well. Xenosaga was a great series that unfortunately didn't finish like it should have.
Always a pleasure to see the perpetually enthusiastic Radical Reggie.
I am so ADDICTED to these pickup vids. I absolutely love being introduced to so many games I haven't heard of as well as seeing awesome games that I have heard of. I hope you don't stop doing these :)
Great craigslist score buddy. Reminds me of DB Cooper burning cash to stay warm
Dude, I'm seriously impressed with Reggie. His on camera presence has improved so much since his first videos.
I've Been Watching Your Videos For Like 9+ Hours Straight Today. I Am In Love With Your Channel ♥️ Keep Up The Good Work.
I can't help but smile when reggie is in your videos he is the nicest guy and brings such a happy vibe
Glad to hear you got The Binding of Issac! It is one of the best, if not the best, retro-inspired indie games out. I've been considering a switch for the sole purpose of having The Binding of Issac on the go. I think that's the only physical version too. Double plus good!
Reggie being excited over his snowcone machine was the highlight for me. His honest joy over the small things is my favorite part of watching him.
Reggie is a legend
Regend.
Wtf lmao
DickmanComedy couldn't of said it better myself lol

Theodore Relic some crazy person or wife from hell threw away a lifetime supply of games 0_0.. damn! I would have sold them
I did keep what I wanted to keep, but the other stuff (where I had duplicates or just wasn't interested in them) I sold off to fund a new motherboard, graphics card, hard drive and memory. That way, someone else benefits from my luck and I got to upgrade my computer.
Theodore Relic what's wrong with sport games
If one wants to play them, absolutely nothing. Theodore Relic oh ok thanks for clarification
I Find Myself Watching This For Hours On End!! So Motivating To See How Everyone On Your Channel Is Collecting New Old Games. Keep Doing What You Do Metal Jesus And Radical Reggie!!
Somewhere in an alternate universe video games are burning humans for fuel because they think they're worthless.
AquaDump Entertainment A video game connoisseur and collecting humans came to that old video game house and bought a bunch of humans for 5box each.
"Did you really burn Hideo Kojima?? That human is sooo collectible!"
Not as collectible as Satoru Iwata.
Well done guys! These pickup videos are always a great watch.
The Nintendo Vita
Made by Microsoft with software from Sega ;)
Nando Calrissian with a wide variety of games from atari
MetalJesusRocks hey dude did you find your taiko drums for the ps2 yet?
MetalJesusRocks Random question MJ. When are you guys going to do that Star Trek Games Episode???
A true classic system
"You guys know I love tiddy fighting games." 20:23
Me too Reggie, me too ;)
Random Assault Podcast and unfortunately you don't see too many of em on the ds.
2d*
Definitely my favorite kind of video on this channel, MJR, Reggie and two stacks of games. It almost makes my weekend.
MAGNA CARTA OMG THANK YOU FOR GIVING THAT GAME SOME LOVE ! !
RETRO GAMING ARTS yeah I need to beat the 2nd game but the first game had some tearful moments
Man I freakin' LOVE REGGIE! Such a genuine and awesome dude. These pickup videos are just so fantastic. I was smiling and even laughing along during this whole video. A lot of fun!
reggy is my favee guest!!
reggie and him have the most "good old boys" vibe to their hangouts. They definitely enjoy doing these and it shows
huh I've been thinking the past couple days about how he's my least fave...oh well
I didn't know about the Hyperlight Drifter physical release until this video! Bought it as soon as you guys brought it up. This is why I love watching these game pickup vids!
20:43 I´ve never heard anyone use the Word "noob" and still sound like a nice guy.
Probably because he said "newbies" not 'noob'.
I got one of those flash boys! Haven't had a chance to play with it yet
I hit that like button before even watching the vid! Thanks for the entertainment guys!
Reggie has such good taste in games. He's a man of my heart. 😘
Now I can't sleep knowing that there is people in the world burning games, it scares me.
A boxed Super Metroid for 5$!!!? I'm officially jealous. Awesome find, man
Today I learned MetalJesusRock's real name is Jason.
But it's spelled "Jayzun".
MetalJesusRocks interesting
I love seeing these game pickups videos show up on my feed. Keep em coming, guys!
Oh my god hearing about her burning games for her stove makes me feel kind of sick.
i put my hands over my mouth like if I just heard my cat died or something, I can't even believe it
Squigin only one thing to say about that... STUPID LADY.
I want to tell myself they were all just worthless sport games but we all know since they were destroyed they were all super rare games.
She just burned the boxes and manuals. Not the carts and disks.
@Carp hope she burned some nintendo play station console and rare Gamecube component video cables lol
Always love the positive Atmosphere from Metal and Reggie.
Wish I could get a copy of God Hand.
Game pick ups episodes with MJS & Radical Reggie is like comfort food. Entertaining and strangely fulfilling. Thanks guys! Keep 'em coming! :)
I love that Vectrex shirt!
Thanks! Picked it up from the Cowlitz Gamers for Kids Expo along with a Jaguar shirt you'll see in some of my videos
Love pickups! more of this kinda thing! and the rest keep it up guys! You have all inspired me to get back into game collecting! Enjoying it so much!
YO DO NOT PASS UP ON PLAYING HAMTARO HAM HAM HEARTBREAK.
touchly yeah, I played it finally and really enjoyed it
I have been looking forward very much to the next MJR pickups video so i am way way happy it was time for another one. Love these videos!
Awesome stuff! Enjoy your games fellow gameheads and keep on going strong! :)
Jesus saves lives.
You make me wish I lived out there near Seattle! I love all the content you guys produce, it's just awesome for the community.
I was gonna watch this, but then seen it was 40 mins long. So I decided to make 2 sandwich's to watch it all with :)
Gaming Culture thanks for making me think there was a hair somehow stuck under my screen protector! 😡...🙃
Finally a new episode of game pickups!!!
I don't salute that T-shirt without a Dreamcast controller.
Francisco Carlos it's only companies that still sell hardware lol
I want to know where he got that shirt, it's dope.
The Dreamcast controller sucked.
TheYzeman Not really. Probably your hands sucks?
TheYzeman - Bite your tongue heathen!
One of my favorite pickup videos. I usually have them on in the background while working but I watched every second of this one. Also I really need a snow cone machine now for some reason.
When a Vita fanboy buys a Switch... 😂
starbuck125 lol 😂😂
Your game pickup episodes are awesome. You show so many games I would never have known about. Love those big box PC games.
Somewhere out there, there's an old person burning valuable things for dumb reasons.
Please put down your old people near you.
They would probably say we're dumb for playing games so much. It's all about perspective.
Destroying assets out of ignorance is dumb and that has nothing to do with "perspective." It is all about ... objectivity not someone's opinion.
Unfortunately, the human race is full of such folly. She chose not to look them up before Jason mentioned it to her. Not the smartest behavior, but it happens millions of times a day all over the world.
Eric Joseph possessions aren't everything. Let me know when you see a u-haul behind a hearse.
I hardly ever play games, but enjoy these videos. Keep it up!!!!
The way Reggie is wearing the hat :/
Don't hate, meditate
Peter M Right? lol. You can tell he was once military with that style. My dad rocked his shit like that back when I was a kid
trucker reggie
Reggie, you do look like an old Baseball manager with that hat lol. No hate
What's wrong with that?
Love your videos man always a joy to watch!🤘🏻 I'm a collector and I love seeing what other cool games are out there to add to my library. I recently picked up a gen 1 PS3 for $125 and am so happy with it! I just beat an awesome hidden gem heavenly sword and I would never have known about it if it wasn't for your videos! I think I've seen most if not all and you're the real hidden gem of UA-cam! Keep up the good work my dude 🤘🏻

Another Great Video! I also dig the Maiden and Ghost perfectly placed pics especially as they are doing shows together. Keep up the entertaining vids!
"Games that hit me in the feels" would be a great group topic for MJR crew
These Game pick up videos with MJR and Reggie are my favorite videos on the whole internet.
It's funny MJR, you guys drive an hour and it's a big deal I guess. Come to Texas. A one hour drive is a leisure. Love the channel. Thanks for all that you and friends do.
That Reggie picture w Snow Bros and the Snow Cone Machine is ON POINT! I wish I could hang and game with you guys. Keep up the excellence!
I like how your crew looks out for each other ,if Reggie sees a title he knows you gonna like he double buys it and for other members too that's love .
Because of you I bought a VITA and love it. MJR is awesome and deserves over a millions subs!
Hey Metal Jesus, been watching your videos for a time and really enjoyed them all. I become a fan immediately. Keep up the good work :) Thank You.
Great video and lots of GREAT finds!
Thanks for the video!
MJR holding the switch upside down 🤣🤣🤣 6:40
It's a shame that lady burned all those things, but the fact that people do stuff like that is the main reason the collectible market for games even exists.
40th pickup video has to be a "best of" pickup video. You and Reg;s best pickups.
Great listening!!!! Time well spent, thank you.
Binding of Isaac is amazing! It is also on the PS4 and 3DS!
I live for your pickups videos.... frenkly I dont, but, I love each and single edition of it. Thank you!
I just started reading Steins;Gate a few days ago. I'm only about two hours in but it's fantastic, I absolutely CANNOT wait to read more of it!
You probably already know this but Clover are technically still around. They changed their name to Platinum Games, the makers of Bayonetta, Metal Gear Rising, etc.
I've purchased quite a few games based solely on your guys pickup videos..nice work
Most like the previous owner had cut out the UPC labels for mail in rebates.
Ohhh the envy! Very awesome haul.
Edit: I also love the energy you 2 have! Reggie is my favorite guest.
The story about that Duvall lady is BEYOND BELIEF! Wow.
Way to rescue all those games! What a story. That's how game chasing go
I've cut UPCs off of boxes like that before. Usually it's because the store had a mail-in rebate and the original UPC was required.
Thank you for posting awesome videos
They bring back so many memories
I think these are my favorite videos or yours. Keep up the great work!
You have to cut out the UPC for various things. Rebates as a proof of purchase, to register older products, to get items offered with it, and so on.
Reggie - Thanks for the mention of Retro Freak of being able to use a fan patch for translations, I'm sold now - Metal Jesus, thanks for having Radical Reggie as a regular !
I just enjoy listening to the 2 of you talk, I am not even that interested in retro games.

Duke Nukem 3D was my first multiplayer experience. Some how mind blowing. I enjoy a lot of these game pickups videos. Many games I have ever heard and also games which I have heard and more better played those also. Thank you about these.
Steins;Gate is the next Vita game I'm getting. I've already seen the anime and loved it.
I have cone across your channel here and there... Today I have subbed!! Awesome video! You Rock MJ!!
I guess this may have been mentioned in the comments, but both Nonary Games are also available in Steam now.
REGGIE DUDE!! Thanks for sporting the RETRO GP Hat!! Man I can't believe some lady was burning those games! If only she had a Snow Cone machine she would Chill Out!!! hahaha
