My YAMAHA HTR 3066 Showing "DC PRT : 253H" error. Some times it's shows 249h, 252h errors. And shutdown after 3-4 seconds. What are the possible problems.. is it a capacitor leakage or any short ?
Nice. great explain. I have a problem with Rx v870 amp get in to protection mode as soon as power on. By disconnecting the rear amp section same results. All the solder joints, caps, and relays looks good to me. in side is clean too. can you please help me out? thank you
Im checking the input(1) and output(3) pins. If there is power on the input, but nothing on the output, then it is most likely the regulator the problem.
thanks for this... how do you adjust the speaker balance on one of these as running in stereo mode but 1 speaker is louder than the other.. went through the menu but can't see any setting for this adjustment [balance - left / right]
I wonder how many of these, or other receivers, end up in land fills with such minor issues. Good to see this nice unit fixed.

Sorry, but I dont know. I haven't had that issue before.
Q why protect mode ,but does not protect it

Can you show how to connect all the 5 speakers (2 front, 1 central, 2 rear and a subwoofer). It is so confusing.
Just follow what it says on the back of your amp, you'll have front R, front L and so on.
