  • In this video, we assemble and adjust an IVES-WAY Can Sealer from start to finish (We replaced the older video). This video goes more in depth on assembly and adjustment than the earlier video. We do encourage people to purchase a NEW IVES-WAY sealer instead of buying one off of eBay (Look for a unit made in Round Lake Beach, Ill). I was lucky, somewhat on the ones I purchased. The price of a new unit is VERY reasonable at about $275.00 from Berlin Packaging (08-09-19) plus shipping. You might find one cheaper elsewhere, you will have to do a search. One of the "dangers" of an eBay purchase, it may be worn out with no available parts. It is cheaper in the long run, in my opinion, to get a new one. I have NO vested interest, nor compensated for the references. Please feel free to contact me on issues or questions you may have. Thank you for watching !

I've found the can starts to pull off center as it moves from 1 to 2 setting. I can't seem to figure out how to make it clamp harder to make it stay in place.

Hi, for current pricing, check House of Cans and Berlin Packaging, when I bought these a couple of weeks ago, they were about $1.50 or so each to include shipping. For the durability, hard to beat and you can buy the plastic lids at Berlin packaging as well. Hope this helps TY!!! !
