I never saw this, enjoyed the titles. This was long after l left school in 1972, was fascinated to hear and see the same clock and music still being used in 1982.

Must be some sort of in-joke that the letters in DESIGN are all over the place in the caption under the clock!

Funny you say that, as if you look at the intro sequence when the letter 'I' is placed on the board, it IS raised up markedly higher than the 'S', just like the caption. I think you're right, someone was having a laugh! And we're noticing it 40+ years later....

I was 6 that term. Still remember that butterfly slide and the exact music that followed it like yesterday.
Like the opening titles music for this programme though.
