A lot of the highlights are massive dunks but the scary part is that Shaepe is a pretty good shooter as well :)
Like Gerald Green. Explosive leaper. Could be a knock down shooter though was streaky. But had no in between game and handle.

Nah guys like Ant and Green have a lot more highlights outside of dunks though like chained dribble moves, advanced step backs, more creative finishes etc. I swear watch their rookie highlights. It's even crazier.

@@farhan007I would argue sharpe doesn’t need very many moves to beat his defender. He’s just a smooth athlete as opposed to shifty like vince carter
@@sp123 in his last couple games of the season he actually got minutes and averaged like 25 5 and 4 or something like that. He’s legit, not just athletic.
Sharpe and Scoot running the floor next year is going to be amazing to watch.
I was just thinking this. The blazers are gonna be a powerhouse in a few years w all the young talent they have. Especially if they trade dame for some good picks and players

The most impressive thing to me is his body control. Yes he can jump really high, but the way adjusts to lobs in mid flight cuts out a lot of contact on these dunks which is great for his longevity. Elite upside offensive threat they have on their hands.
100% If he can clean up his handle, upside is through the ceiling.

He played very few games and generally seemed not that serious about college. His potential was clear but teams were hesitant. You do know MPJ fell to 14 just a few years ago because of injury concerns
Being really athletic doesn't mean he'll be a great player
Debatably the steal of the draft of Walker Kessler and Chris Braun weren’t there
@@sp123 He is very athletic (like Vince Carter levels) and he can shoot and play. His skills are not just limited to amazing dunks. At worse he is Zach Lavine level (who is a max player right now)

He’s so explosive at the rim and his shots off the dribble are so smooth.. In my opinion he works on his first step and he will be unstoppable.. He seems a little sluggish when he first commits to a move to get by the defense but he will improve on that
He is playing great off-ball right now. That’s what you want out of a rookie. Someone who understands how to be a part of a system.
Very good, not unstoppable. A man can only do so much if he's 6'5. You have to be Giannis size to be unstoppable.

Precisely! I remember Shaedon changed his hairstyle for just one match (this one), and then returned to the old one. But the width of his shoulders still gave him away in comparison with Hart.)

I knew this guy going to be a problem in the NBA... I saw his drills/workout from the draft day.. And since then he has been my man... He is good shooter as well don't forget...

A lot of people acting they saw him coming when he didn't even play college basketball. We all knew he was a freak athlete. His shooting translating is what made him very good. He definitely was drafted earlier than most expected but he'll be special.

Well obviously were going through some weird times as Blazer fans. I will miss Dame, I have watched almost every game hes ever played, he is the best blazer ever in my eyes, title or not, but Shaedon and Scoots potential gives us something to look forward to. Ive never been so exited to watch a summer league game as I am today hahaha.

MJ had elite agility off the dribble. Sharpe has more of a KJ Martin Jr type athleticism. Can explode out of the gym but isn't this laterally shifty quick explosive guy like MJ. Guys like Green or Ant are closer to that type of athleticism.

Found out about this guy reading trade rumors. This guy is talented. He needs to demand a trade to NY, MIA or LA ASAP. Lakers are currently looking at offering a sign and trade to Portland giving up Dlo for Lillard and some young talent. He would be perfect here in LA!

I hope the blazers start to think about rebuilding and trading Dame. Would love to see the development of their young players, considering that they have a chance of getting a young wing in the draft in Miller. He fits well with what they currently have than trying to get Scoot.
