I don’t know about new soul , but I think what you need is the ability for some chords to be say , sus 2 , sus 4 , min 7 sus 4 etc but I think with the custom chord mode you are stuck with the 1 custom voicing for each chord . If not , this machine is amazing

But one question since im not that good at playing chords, is it possible to play the song (right hand) and is there a mode which assign chords to follow based on the voices i play?my question is the following: can this midi keyb help me who dont really play chords, play me with the song i play with the right hand? Hi, I have a question/suggestion. I really like my oxygen Pro Mini.I mainly bought it to use with my iPad usually in AUM. It does not bother me that is not setup for any iOS DAWs. But with all the Hoopla about Loopy Pro it would be nice if someone would create a preset made for Loopy Pro. I have not purchased Loopy Pro yet but a premade template would cause me to pull the trigger.. Your tutorials are very much appreciated. Thank you.
Just purchased the Oxygen Pro mini. Your videos save me a lot of time. One question : I suceed installing Hybrid , Velvet and Grand Piano as standalone but not in my DAW Studio One.I added in Studio one the additional directories where to find third party VST from AIr Music Tech but I was unable to locate any .dll files in those directories. So when I launch Studio one no VST instruments from AIr Music are available. Do you have an idea of this issue ?
Watched many videos on chord mode on the so many available midi keyboards. Nobody demonstrate including this channel what chords would play when you press (C), C# D D# E F F# G G# A A# B if the chord mode is set to C major. Also What chords would play if the chord mode is set to C# (black key). Does the first chord starts with the C key? Everybody seem to somehow skip that portion which is actually important. Anybody? is it possible to program the keyboard keys to play a specific voicing and chord and then save that to a memory slot that i can switch back and forth from?
Hello, great video. After watching it, I also bought myself an oxygen pro mini. But I have a problem! my oxygen pro mini in chord mode plays different notes within the same chord, one of the notes or several can continue to play after I stop playing. can you advise something?

I'm using the Mini with Ableton and the chords are sometimes triggering twice when I press a key - once when I press and also when I release.

Love this controller, but a bit disappointed that chord mode only allows major/minor, rather than all the modes/scales available in scale mode. (Eg diatonic chords for C Dorian)
I have the mini, and have been wondering whether its worth excanging for the 49 key version just so I wont have to use banking as much when recording octaves and more pads, more keys etc... is it worth the extra 90 euros which isnt much :)
Is there a possibility to fix the issue that in chord mode either only two notes are played or one of the three is stuck in place until it is pressed again?
Greetings I use this kontakt program with my controller m audio oxygen pro 49 for sampler effects voices and audio effects to each key I assign a different rhythm but when I get to the last key with my controller I do not change banks I explain to pass the next bank or next scene 001 - 002 - 003 I change them manually I have to go to the program and change it with the mouse of my pc but I want my audio controller to do it so that it is faster
I've got the oxygen pro mini, and it's worked pretty well so far. Many good features, and works well. I haven't used the oxygen pro 25, but it looks like it has better weighted keys and bigger keys than the oxygen pro mini, so if you want some bigger keys, it might be a better option, but there are less keys. Hope this helps at least a bit.

Any tips for getting Neo Soul style chords using Chord Mode, what Voicing , any custom voicing setting you would suggest? (for more jazz kinda chords)

additional comment : no dll file too in the standard directory VstPlugins
issue is resolved. The plugin directory to add in your DAW is c:\program\steinberg\vstplugins

I've got the oxygen pro mini, and it's worked pretty well so far. Many good features, and works well. I haven't used the oxygen pro 25, but it looks like it has better weighted keys and bigger keys than the oxygen pro mini, so if you want some bigger keys, it might be a better option, but there are less keys.
