Nice content Ben. One question I have, how to unlock "likes" option in when you get charged (campaign objective is engagements/likes). I am using minimum daily budget for the ad set with 1 ad.
I have a question.. you mentioned that switching to Link Clicks in 'When you get charged' does not change anything in terms of CPC. But let's say I have setup 2 campaigns for $10 each. Campaign 1 gets charged on Impressions and Campaign 2 gets charged on Link Clicks. Now let's assume both campaigns deliver 1000 impressions @ $10 CPM and 0 clicks. Do you mean to say I will be charged $10 for Campaign 1 and 2 both??? I thought campaign 2 would have a $0 charge because there were no clicks.

Awesome Video! Could you please explain how does CPC and CPM not matter? what if there was no clicks on the CPC but served to 1,000 people? what if you just want to create an awarness campaign but you know its just to create awarneess and no clicks are needed so as long as they see it that's good enough. wouldnt it give you more impressions since your budget hasnt been hit?

Thank you for the great knowledge you share. I want to be sure: Will I charged on impression although I select thru play (15 seconds video play) in when you get charged option?
If that's what you've selected then you will see a charge per thru play in your ad account. My point is that it doesn't make a difference to what you end up paying.

If you choose to pay per link click or thru play, you won't be charged per impression even if you got impressions without any link clicks or thru plays.

Hi Ben, I am wondering why Facebook charged my account over 5times simultaneously and my credit card suspended on the 5th times, usually Facebook ad has trashhoold, why's it happened sometime and unfortunately I can't contact them since they have no chats room available and their phone number is going directly to answer machine. Do you think that incident is a hack or normal behavior for Facebook ad manager? Thanks for sharing info

Hi Ben, finding your content extremely helpful so thanks! Question for you: When you’ve got multiple campaigns runnings, how should you be looking at the data when you’re monitoring the ads. For example, I look at how the ads have performed over the past week - is this too long a time frame or is it best to be looking at it in a 3-5 day window? There's quite a few of my ads running that when I look at it on a weekly basis it’s a good cost per purchase but if I put it to 4 days it's sometimes not so good - if it's not performed very well in the past 4 days is it best to look to alter the campaign or give it the full 7 days or more? When you’re speaking with clients or discussing performance with your team what window of time do you use to present the data and see whether you need to test something different? I usually do a weekly report Mon-Sun using ads reporting.
Great question - we will mainly assess things on a past 7 day basis but will also take a look at the last 30 days to make sure that we haven't just seen an anomalous week.

Meta charges you to run ads, not on a per result basis I'm afraid.
It won't allow me to select link click unless I pay $10.. So far I paid $20 but it's still greyed out. How can I correct this? maybe I'm doing something wrong

is it the amount I get charged, is it the number of followers and likes, is it the amount that I pay?

Hello Ben! I have a huge problem with facebook ads and I tried everything and I can't fix it. I tried doing the ads and paying through paypal but ended up deactivated the ad because it wasn't syncing and somehow facebook is still charging me 25 every few days for it!! I looked on my business and personal to delete the payment options and it says I have none. I contacted facebook and they haven't gotten back to me. Please help! Can I hire you to fix it please?
Yes, same here. Let's see what happens. The best way to go is to contact your bank. Cancel your debit card and setup a new debit card.
FB asked me to upload ID 2 months in a row? Should I be worried? My account is still locked, got locked yesterday and uploaded ID second time.

One thing you may not have considered is increasing LTV. Often advertisers beat themselves up trying to reduce cost per conversion, when actually it's much easier to increase LTV by 50% and then your current cost per conversion is really profitable.
How can I stop the " due date " ? The billing date is due 24th of each month.. I want to stop it but idk how. I don't run ads anymore and I deactivated my ad account but the due date is still there :( my bills are 0.00 tho I just want to remove the thing about paying every month

Thanks :) Facebook do say that they can charge more than the stated amount. But you can query it with them and they may process a refund.

I'am currently running multiple campaigns at the same time. Can I and how set things up to recieve one bill per one ad at the end of the ad, and not multiple bills with mutiple camapigns on the bill? Am I even making sense, I don't know. Please, someone, help me! It's so annoying to get 8 bills for 4 ad campaigns. If it is mentioned somewhere in the video, just direct me to it, I skipped through parts.
I don't think what you have described is possible I'm afraid. Facebook billing is awesome infuriatingly cumbersome. When your billing threshold increases you will receive less invoices but that's as good as it gets for most advertisers.

This setting does depend on campaign objective. You may have selected one that doesn't allow you to change it.

What should I do when Instagram is charging me a deleted ads? Since I deleted my ads, I can't see any ads is active which I don't have the delete or pause button, but Instagram is keep charging me. : (
Hmm that's odd. I did you turn off your campaign before you deleted it? It sounds like a glitch so you'll probably need to contact Instagram or Facebook about that.

Are you sure? Is that not just the delay in when you are billed? I haven't come across that.
