Also, I’ve been testing out my new, high-speed billet gears They’ve been holding up well. The only problem I’m having is that the motor ramps up too quick even with the ESC turned all the way down.
In my previous speedrun video i have posted a dropbox link in the discription, thare you can download my dataloggings and XLX2 set-up file. I think part of todays problem is also that i pulled the trigger a bit to fast. Thus "ramping" up the speed to fast. For my next runs i will keep that in mind!
Awesome video bro I remember when I was having problems with my slash drivetrain kept breaking. so I just bit the bullet and made my drivetrain bulletproof. and. The disadvantage to that would be adding more weight.
Thank you!! In the summer of 2022 i speedrunned my Slash several times with plastic axles. But for this season i have upgraded to steel ones. That video come's next weekend. Tnx for watching!
I will look into that diff case, thanks! With my spidergears, ring gear and planetary gear is nothing wrong. But the diff case from Arrma is leaking like a crazy.... How does de HR hold up against leaking? For now i have bought sillicon earplugs and will put those in the diff this week.
Thank you!! And welcome to the channel where you can follow my all my speedrun adventures (and many other rc adventures) in full detail. Most runners keep their tunings a secret, but with mee you can see all details. So if you dont see it, its just not there.
I was also thinking about that. But ik think 160€ for 2 difflockers is a bit expencive (including vat and shipping). Hotgleu was also on my mind but i dont know how permanant it is. if i break a drivecup or bearing i still need to disassemble the diff and if it is full with hot gleu is that still possible? Last saturday i was at rc-car-online and they advised me to use sillicon earplugs. I orderd those and got them yesterday. I will make a video about that.

Try running the Hot Racing 2 piece diff cases. I run them in a v2 limitless, zero issues and my gear mesh has less play.
I will look into that diff case, thanks!

@@remborc so for no leaks, the aluminum case uses a re-usable rubber o-ring gasket. It’s a inexpensive upgrade $17 USD per diff.
@@btsc1 Do you have a link of the diffhousings? I cannot find it on ali..
Cool ( subscribed )
Thank you!!
