Sigourney spends the entire season basically putting all her chips on glamour (which is totally fair, there’s nothing wrong with picking one tenet as your priority) and usually succeeding. It’s disappointing to see her put forward something so simple for this when it was a real opportunity to show how glamorous her glamour could be.

Honestly, considering her looks troughout the season and the finale... I think she just gave up, she just had fun and did what she was comfortable with. She was attacked every single episode and felt terrible most of the time. She could put up a fight in the finale to show they were wron, but... This Glamour needed accessories, badly! Bigger jewelry, props, fascinator, cape, anything! Also, I would advice her to make a Two-Face in her Filth look, really missed oportunity to use profile and lighting at her favor, hiding the nasty side of her face with the pretty side and using the mirror to reveal the ugly, filthy half and then going full monster revealing the complete appearence. I would love to see that... instead of just some pimples. I loved her, from the beginning! I was really disappointed with her finale looks. I wanna take a moment to appreciate the message behind Dahli's look/performance. The red being the same shade as the medication they take is so thoughtful. And them taking their medication on stage? Beautiful. This prompted my mom to ask some questions about HIV, and she left this episode a more educated and informed person. This was really important
I dont want to come across as hatefull or mean but I dont think youre mom became more educated on HIV because she Saw someone in a red dress take a Pill.

Dahli's glamour look totally blew me away. That beat is one of the most beautiful I've ever seen. The huge jewels, the feminine bottom, the masculine top...this was next level in my opinion
God Hoso really did eat this whole finale up. I'm so happy for them and Dahli for winning and Sigourney for representing high femme AFAB queens and doing so well, and Saint for living up to her performance in resurrections. While I think this is my least favorite season of Dragula for a few reasons, this top four is impeccable.
@@Dolzadolza I think that how Merrie Cherry and Bitter Betty's judgements were handled in the first half of the season really left a sour taste in my mouth. It felt like Astrud and a few other queens wound up being used as fodder to ensure that the people they wanted to get further did well. and then other *really* big thing that gets me is how Hoso's backstage tea was fully told and showed off and made a reason for them to not win. and then how during the Monster's of Rock episode the backstage tea was held off and only told during the reunion which winds up fucking over Betty and Merrie really hard because both of them wound up getting a bunch more hate until the reunion. Like it's good drama kind of but it wound up effecting the monsters really poorly in real life so even though s4's budget and looks and cast were incredible, it wound up being my least fave season so far :/

Sigourney's glamour floor show had the same issue as Victoria's horror floor show where they set the bar so high for themselves in those categories that they flopped in meeting the expectation
I actually think Dahli had the best look in this category. He looks absolutely amazing. Edit: As someone that was rooting for a Sigourney win, her final floorshow performances were probably the weakest out of the four. :(
Dahli's look to me was a lot like their ghostship glamour look which I personally like a lot better than this one, and the whole HIV pill concept really would not come across if they didn't get to explain it beforehand.
Hoso won this category for me. The other three had solid looks, but kind of expected. Hoso gave an elevated glamor version of her drag, utilizing her signature makeup but also "cleaning" it up to fit the criteria to show she isn't stuck with just one face (not saying she hasn't changed her makeup before, just that she made her signature face work for the challenge and didn't just give "typical" Hoso.)
I promise you no one is sleeping on Hoso’s glamour look. Everyone loved it. Don’t assume they aren’t appreciating her look because they aren’t glorifying it the way you do.
@@Lecor_ow It’s appreciated but lackluster, tbh. Try searching online for female Korean historical outfits or watch Korean Historical dramas. Hoso’s hat/hair and outfit are steps down. Kim Chi’s final Book Ball look comes closer to those so if Hoso did something close to or better than Kim Chi’s, I would’ve probably liked it more.

So IMO if I had to rank these looks wise: 1. Dahli (they gave glamour for the first time in the new drag persona that they’re showing now, the performances was good as well and the look is just stunning an in between of masculine and feminine AMAZING) 2. Hoso Tera Toma (it might be just me being Asian and all but Hoso had a great look it’s glam in a different way, rich in culture which is what Hoso’s drag is usually about showing own culture performance was ok but it couldn’t beat Dahli) 3. Saint (less disappointed by Saint but still is head up it’s beautiful but the outfit was not my favourite, performance was good) 4. Sigourney (I’m sorry but I’m VERY disappointed in this look of hers, I have a pretty high expectation for her in the glam category and she let me down a little, the look was nice but I needed more, performance was still good)

Such a missed opportunity for Dahli here. I understand she still won but could you imagine her shaving the mustache coming out in FULL glam?? I honestly was expecting it and was shocked she didn't take the opportunity. It is obviously a part of Dahli's drag but it would have been everything to see that transformation after the season
i think the thing is with dahli’s drag is that it’s genderless - dahli is a drag artist, rather than a drag queen. they still looked fully glamorous with the stache and all, presenting a masculine top and feminine bottom, toying with the traditional gender binary. their makeup and gown were beautiful and i don’t think their facial hair compromised any of the glamor.

I love how everyone's movements are so personal to them. Dahli and Sigorney have every move planned and don't make a single mistake. Hoso perfectly conveys the character through her movement. And Saint catches a groove and is so graceful and fluid. I've been Team Hoso all the way through, but everyone won that challenge.

1. the best outfit was dahli's. 2. sigourney failed a GLAM challenge that was supposed to be her best since she has been giving it ALL SEASON. at first i thought everyone was being mean to her but the filth, glam and hairy challenge she FLOPPED! i aint mad at merrie, zavaleta or betty for what they said. sigourney is giving the same looks, same contacts etc... 3. everyone going crazy over hoso's look but go look at kim chi and soju's gisaeng looks. they did the gisaeng look way better than hoso. even hoso's makeup is still horror not glam. seriously google kim chi's gisaeng performances and you will see a difference and see how hoso's gisaeng korean look isn't well put together. 4. saint's look is nice but it doesnt stand out to me. tbh 5. the best look is dahli's, and i am not even a dahli fan because i feel like the makeup stays the same with a drawn on mustache for each challenge.

To be fair, Sigourney made all of her garments so it kinda is another Ellie Diamond situation (this time there are great gowns, beautiful gowns instead of chaps)
Sigourney was going to win it was pretty clear but this finale was going to determine whether she would or not and she let everyone down . I think she has the worst finale looks out of all 4 seasons and this has to be weakest based of looks to compared to season 1-3
Hoso won Glamour, Dahli won Filth, Saint won Horror. Love Sigourney and I was Team Sigourney. Like her looks, but still lacking some aspects especially her Glamour
They all look great, Dhali to me looks the best. I see a lotta people putting Hoso in their top/2nd. I understand the cultural significance behind it- which I love. I love cultural referencing in any form of art- but especially in terms of fashion. But to me- that fabric was reading very cheap. The silhouette looks great, but when I see the fabric it doesn't feel quite as glamorous.
Saint: Expected way more from them. Dahli: Isn't that her Ghiostship Glam look in red? Sigourney: She looks pretty but was that all she had for glamour? Hoso: Ok, where is the glam though?
She was the clear star imo. The critiques from the boulet tho are quite interesting and have been fair. She was new to dragula did better at entertaining the audience, she carried the whole season, kept it fresh. Her not winning imply she's coming back, which we don't need for dahli.
I think the problem was how sigourney was filmed. It wasn’t just a white dress, it had a huge blood splatter made out of rhinestones but she was never shown in full light full body or even filmed from the side that had the blood details
I feel like she intentionally didn't want to win because she wants to come back for a future ressurection season. I have seen her in better gowns in her live performances
I miss this season and these Queens already. They were so incredibly fun to watch, and it was great to constantly see them growing and giving more looks. Love this performance! Hoso and Dahli really stole the show in particular. Sigourney and Saint looked so gorgeous as well.
People are giving Sigourney such a hard time, but I think she still served for the finale. Fuck, she was going Full Tilt for the entire season, in my opinion. Sure, she fell flat a couple of times, but no more than any other competitor. I DO think that maybe by the end, she'd already set the bar for herself so high that she hit the wall. But I don't think that makes her any less of an incredible performance artist.
In my head, hoso's look here looks like they just became a demon and are not in their final form yet, which is the one we see with their usual makeup. It gives me terrifying creature that looks like a beaultiful woman and can turn into a true monster at any time
I like all their look, Hoso’s bring it on the outfit’s persona (culture wise) with the theme, but as the glam category, I laud Sigourney’s look, ut’s diff glam and hostile.. I love it!

1. the best outfit was dahli's.
2. sigourney failed a GLAM challenge that was supposed to be her best since she has been giving it ALL SEASON. at first i thought everyone was being mean to her but the filth, glam and hairy challenge she FLOPPED! i aint mad at merrie, zavaleta or betty for what they said. sigourney is giving the same looks, same contacts etc...
3. everyone going crazy over hoso's look but go look at kim chi and soju's gisaeng looks. they did the gisaeng look way better than hoso. even hoso's makeup is still horror not glam. seriously google kim chi's gisaeng performances and you will see a difference and see how hoso's gisaeng korean look isn't well put together.
4. saint's look is nice but it doesnt stand out to me. tbh
5. the best look is dahli's, and i am not even a dahli fan because i feel like the makeup stays the same with a drawn on mustache for each challenge.

And yes the gisaeng look has been done way better. Go look up gisaeng and you will see the difference. Most people dont even know wtf a hanbok or gisaeng is. If yall think this is a geisha look then yall need to educate yourself. Go research the many korean gisaeng hairstyles hoso could have chosen with beautiful korean hairpins.

Sigourney was going to win it was pretty clear but this finale was going to determine whether she would or not and she let everyone down . I think she has the worst finale looks out of all 4 seasons and this has to be weakest based of looks to compared to season 1-3
Hoso won Glamour, Dahli won Filth, Saint won Horror. Love Sigourney and I was Team Sigourney. Like her looks, but still lacking some aspects especially her Glamour

They all look great, Dhali to me looks the best. I see a lotta people putting Hoso in their top/2nd. I understand the cultural significance behind it- which I love. I love cultural referencing in any form of art- but especially in terms of fashion. But to me- that fabric was reading very cheap. The silhouette looks great, but when I see the fabric it doesn't feel quite as glamorous.

Everyone's criticising Sigourney bit I just don't see it. I think she killed it in every category and stayed true to herself..
She was the clear star imo. The critiques from the boulet tho are quite interesting and have been fair. She was new to dragula did better at entertaining the audience, she carried the whole season, kept it fresh. Her not winning imply she's coming back, which we don't need for dahli.

I think the problem was how sigourney was filmed. It wasn’t just a white dress, it had a huge blood splatter made out of rhinestones but she was never shown in full light full body or even filmed from the side that had the blood details
Loved this final four but clearly not the best group for glamour... my normal going out attire is more glamorous than these looks.

People are giving Sigourney such a hard time, but I think she still served for the finale. Fuck, she was going Full Tilt for the entire season, in my opinion. Sure, she fell flat a couple of times, but no more than any other competitor.
I DO think that maybe by the end, she'd already set the bar for herself so high that she hit the wall. But I don't think that makes her any less of an incredible performance artist.

In my head, hoso's look here looks like they just became a demon and are not in their final form yet, which is the one we see with their usual makeup. It gives me terrifying creature that looks like a beaultiful woman and can turn into a true monster at any time
