EP14: Fixing up a Honda CT90 | Fuel tank repair

1. Read instructions
2. Remove tank from bike, then remove seat from tank
3. Rinse inside of tank with water 3 times
4. Plug the openings with duct tape, make sure no liquid can escape
5. Mix Degreaser(1pint) with warm water(1pint)
6. Pour the Degreaser + water mix into the fuel tank and shake violently for 30min
7. Empty out the degreaser and rinse inside of tank with water
8. Pour half the metal prep(1 pint) into the tank
9. Place tank in different positions every 30min
10. Make sure tank is entirely treated with the metal prep, then empty out the metal prep and rinse with water 3 times.
11. Dry tank with hair dryer. Tank must be completely dry for sealer to bond
12. Stir the sealer until its silver, then pour half of the fuel sealer into the tank
13. Coat the entire tank with the sealer by moving it around slowly, check with flashlight. Remove the duct tape from the petcock holes and let the excess drain out, do not let the sealer puddle over the holes
14. Clean the petcock holes before the sealer hardens
15. Let cure for 96hrs
