Frank Lovejoy is a high ranking Air Force reserve pilot so he takes advantage of his rank, plus different time zones & the jet stream so he can fly west to make a stop at home, kill his wife, then get back to his base! From 1957 . . Interestingly, this recording is the "Armed Forces Radio TV Service" version! (the audio is good but not remastered, as this recording is the best available)

This is an interesting, solid episode--the twist is logical, even if you can kind of expect what's going to happen. None of the characters are particularly sympathetic--both of the women in Lovejoy's life are kind of selfish, and Lovejoy himself seems weak-willed (and has a curiously unsettling moment when he contemplates killing his young son). This is fine per se, if the characters were more complex, but it just comes off as making everyone seem like a stereotype.
