The Caribbean Clipper makes little to no sense to me; it needs a sail on the rear mast imho. My biggest gripe with the Imperial ships is that they're all tiny compared to things like the Barracuda and the Schooner. I've been tinkering with the bricklink software to try and find a design I like to give them a worthy ship to oppose the bigger pirate ships but I've yet to settle on anything. How did you like the Schooner/Barracuda hybrid btw?
Yeah, the Caribbean Clipper looks weird! The pirates certainly had the advantage when it came to ships back in the day and we needed bigger ones. Although, the Imperials had the advantage when it came to bases. The 2010 Imperial Flagship was epic though! I love the idea of your hybrid - it sounds fantastic! Do you have pictures?
the 2010 Flagship is crazy good--its design even matches the more modern parts usage of the updated Barracuda in 21322... but it is unfortunately $850USD just USED, new can go for $1,200+... It is already a remake so I have little faith that they'll do it again for the Guards, but maybe the Pirates resurgence spells hope for an improved Clipper or Amada Flagship.
The price of the Flagship is indeed crazy! I'm hoping the Eldorado Fortress is selling well and Lego realises there is huge demand for more Lego Pirates. Either way, I'm sure we'll see more Lego sail ships in the future; they're just so stunning!
Im surprised, and disappointed, lego hasnt made more "soldier" ships, to match the pirates, even for the Pirates of the Caribbean line, (which, i remember had a couple of pretty models to make sets of..) because, pirates need something to be chased by, or something to attack
I totally agree! Although we've gotten more over the years, the pirate ships were always bigger and better, especially in the 90s and 2000s, there was nothing to really rival the Black Seas Barracuda or Skull's Eye Schooner.
Instead of "sabre island" , i was thinking about the soldier's fort from 2015, it has a governor and his daughter. It's the blue faction too and well detailed, it's just lacks of a blue plate, like the tavern of soldiers...
Soldiers Fort from 2015 is a nice set... hmmm... the mini figures are better than Sabre Island for sure... if it had that Island base plate though... 😅
Thanks for the Top 10 videos of both Imperial and Pirates sides. 1) I agree that Caribbean Clipper should have had another sail on the back mast to make it look more imposing, seems to be wasted space there. 2) The Armada Flagship was a disappointment with the size and the multiple colors...I feel it veered away from design of the previous ships.
Thank you watching them! 1) Yay, I'm not crazy! 😂 2) I didn't mind the change in design so much as it's a different faction, but yeah, it wasn't the best 😆
If Lego remade 6286, they can just take my money now. I'd even go and camp outside the Lego store in the middle of winter so I can have it the moment it's released 😆
@@SecondBrickToTheLeft Sign me onboard! I'll even row in a boat (like in Lego pirates sets) to Denmark for first box with it - for you ! Of course after you defrost from that tent ;)
Awesome video. I just got Eldorado Fortress. I haven’t had a pirate set since I was a kid. Love the theme
Thanks! That's awesome you got the Eldorado Fortress - it's an amazing set 😍 I'm sure you'll have a great time building it!

i feel old because i have many sets of it 😅🤣😅
🤫 We aren't old.. 1989 was just a couple of years ago... it's all ok 😅
WE absolutely DEMAND a huge imperal ship from LEGO :))))
🤩 And then we'd need a huge pirate ship to fight against it! 😁
@@SecondBrickToTheLeft yes! Remake of 6286 or something new you think? ;)
