hello, i have the same motherboard and cpu paired with a 750ti. i havent been getting expected performance and i dont know anything about bios settings. can you please just make a video about what all the bios settings should normally be (with no overclock) so that it uses all of the resources efficiently and gives the normal expected performance from the rig. i would really appreciate it if you do.
Your bios needs tweaking. Same setup at 4.68 stable. NB SB Vrm all get hot when you run 1.45 volts to cpu. I have a fan on Vrm. It's all about keeping the Vrm cool. 4+1 phase motherboard. Makes it much more challenging. Heat. I have 11 fans.

I can't tell if it's just me or what, but tweaking the CPU settings and refresh rates and voltages in this BIOS on this board is incredibly finicky.
How reliable is resume from sleep with this motherboard. Does it resume 100% of the time, or does soemtimes it fail and you have to reboot.

Well it’s been a year I don’t know if you will ever get this notification but you got a few likes and from how came off with your comment I guessed you sort of seem like you know what you’re talking about no disrespect to the original poster of vid. So I have basically seen people say more or less what this guy had set up as well as your minor tweaks that you suggested. But then some were saying and talking about slight changes to Northbridge and HT link; Honeslty just one notch up on the north bridge frequency as well as the HT link frequency for 2200 MHz. Some some UA-cam guide of a kid that had Northbridge at 2400 MHz didn’t really seem that knowledgeable though and of course aside from any kind of glitches it might cause I know we’re primarily if given you aren’t seeing any weird stuttering or glitches it’s primarily the heat youlooking for correct? Or if you have already been experimenting a little bit tweaking the settings experienced some weird stuttering and some other weird glitches upon Barack is that make a very bad sign that you may have already damage something? If you ever see this I would really appreciate your advice.

You have to be very careful if you choose to use my setting watch the temp of your PC and gradually change your settings accordingly for your PC.

This nearly broke my PC... just gonna upgrade cpu and mobo for faster speeds.
Have a amd fx-6300 keep getting an error that just says pc cannot start due to overclock continue or bios, when i continue it doesnt start, just says POST fail, i have a hyper 212 evo and just going 200mhz oc it doesnt boot, tried upping voltages, etc cant get it to work.
Did you check your settings disable auto overclock or boost also did you check the LLC Load line calibration? set that to normal and what is your settings exactly for Frequency(Mhz) and Volts. Honestly more information is needed to know exactly but checking temps is also a good idea first of all.
@@pcgamingstation2292 I have tried 3.9-4.2ghz, through all the volts there is on the cpu voltage (besides the ones in red), I tried LLC on normal and extreme, all the different safety settings are off, frequency is incraments of 200mhz (default). Temps are fine through bios, just doesnt boot past bios, have tried so many things and followed multiple videos even just changing things small amounts doesnt let the pc boot.
i used a gtx 1050 ti on this exact motherboard with fx 6300 but after 6 months it stopped detecting my gpu although my gpu is in well condition and running fine on another systems......and any low end card like gt 710 610 they are working on this motherboard plzz help?

You should be able to I really wanted to get me a 8 core but I could only afford the 6 core at the time if anything you should get better performance! same sort of rules will apply to the overclocking process just make sure to watch your temps and keep an eye on those volts and take your time and properly benchmark it! If you have some questions let me know on facebook I have helped a few people on their while they were overclocking sending me pics and updates of their clocks.

Nice video. Actually is up to 4.4ghz, right? I did the overclock on my fx6300 and I set it up to 4.4 ghz but sometimes the clock goes to 4.5ghz. I monitored on HWMonitor.

Auto will not offer the right stability when overclocking at a certain point the higher you go generally the PC will require more juice.

+By Steamz Always check the temps first off and when does this happen? Did you change any voltage? Also you can reset settings in BIOS

Your probally doing better than me I have 450W Power supply! And good setup you have there I would suggest to make sure you keep it cool and adjust fan speeds ASAP but all in all I have seen the CPU reach 86C on max load with a really good air cooling But that may have been due to the initial starting but I will say it reached that only for a split second I maintain around 78-79 C on Average 24/7 Im working on watercooling to see if I can get these temps down. I paired this setup with a GTX 950 Origianlly than swapped it out for a GTX 1050 Ti when I saw the prices! Anyways If you have a isssue let me know because I will soon be doing a update to this to go in more detail I missed a few things I wanted to say and show people..

+Atal Dangwal Great glad it helped. If your trying to reach higher the voltages will need to go up by doing this it will get a bit warmer and having the fans on a higher setting will help the increase.
what is set to auto and the cooler the better with the power supply you have you should be fine also good job!
I used to have Gammax 300! Damn. This thing is a piece of shit, i'm super happy to be rid of it, gave it away. It can cool low-wattage processors silently and pretty well and fits in narrow cases, that's the only things it's good at. With its 3 heatpipes it simply doesn't have the heat transmission capability to reach or exceed 125W. The fan (120mm fan with an integrated 92mm funnel, which is super neat) has a remarkably shitty bearing too, depending on how you orient it, makes scraping noises once in a while. Well at least it was cheap, like what, 16€? For that, not bad really, not bad at all.
Granted you're just at 4 GHz, that's not even all that drastic at all. I don't think your cooling or your board are all that badly stressed, especially given you haven't had to up the voltages.
At me 5.5 ghz corsair tx 850 watts 35-40 degree is impeccable and no problem.

@@Niinda94 Yes, :) 1,5750 or else 1,5256 vcore NB FREQUENCY 2750. The room temperature should be +20-22 degrees max.

Reset CMOS and check temperatures before your final overclock settings and keep the motherboard cool.

And remove the battery that is on your motherboard. Then put it back and turn on your pc. This should fix it.

I installed a 1060 on this configuration and somehow it's not getting detected. Any ideas?
What brand of GTX 1060? Did you install the driver required before plugging the HDMI cord into the card? what is it doing exactly?
It's a Superclocked EVGA 3GB GDDR5. The driver doesn't install because it's not detecting any Nvidia hardware. Device monitor doesn't even show the card and I have to use the Mobo's HDMI port to get any video. I did connect the 6 pin cables btw. I have your exact mobo and CPU as well.
I used to run a GTX 950 before this one and the 1060 is set up on a fresh windows install too.

I would try uninstalling the drivers and re install the correct drivers before plugging the HDMI to the graphics card itself once everything is recognized then you can power down then change the plug to the card and turn it on and it should run. I would suggest going to the EVGA website for the driver www.evga.com/support/download/

Check your voltage setting as well as turn off turbo core boosting and set the LLC loads line calibration to normal. 4.0Ghz should be somewhere around 1.3volts more or less depending of the setup. If you get lower voltage while maintaining the clock speed.

From default voltage you may have to go up one setting for the 3.8 Ghz you can try 1.225 volts or 1.35 volts

Hello so I had my fx 6300 on the same motherboard pc co 4.0ghz at 1.38v but I want to go higher to around 4.4ghz what voltage would you recommend. I have a water cooler.
1.45 seems to do it once you reach this area I noticed heat was the issue as well as LLC settings.
So one question, i get this in my loading screeen " Varifying DMI data pool" I try pressing Delete Botton but its not bring out my bios? can you help please

+The Sweaty Spartan probally because you didn't increase incrementally minor adjustments not put at Max overclock ..everyone's processor is slightly different anyways. Also do you have proper cooling? And did you take baby steps to make sure you know the settings are stable?
North Bridge and HT Link frequencies left on auto? Various other UA-cam people with the same exact set up as well as some forums discussing this specific build and overclocking i read people people stating the opposite anyone care to enlighten someone that is new to the PC master race although be it’s an older rig for sure haha
I think you're pumping way too much voltage into your overclock. I can get my 8350 stable at 4.4Ghz using 1.34Vcore with extreme load line calibration. The real output tends to be around 1.4V once I'm in windows.
+Doothe yes I was in the middle of switching voltages back after a test. Glad to see your stable I'll mess with my load line again see if it fixes my clocks I just recently added some Liquid metal to the mix video coming soon! XD
Setting Load Line Calibration to Extreme adds a +75mv offset to your Vcore. Say I set Vcore to 1.320.. Extreme LLC will add +75 making it 1.390V.
You can check the actual voltage once you're in Windows using HWMonitor.
I'm stable at 4.4 using 1.320 w/ extreme LLC.
btw this board is complete junk when it comes to overclocking. I'm only using it because my M5A99FX Pro R2.0's ethernet port died.
I was able to get 4.6 stable all day at low temps with a higher end motherboard.
What kind of temperatures do you see on that overclock? Also what type of cooling have you got in place there?
I am trying to overclock my Fx6300 on this mobo with the Hyper 212x. Temps are hovering at 50 for upto 4.3Ghz with a voltage of 1.34 Vcore.
It's not stable though. I read your comment on setting the Load Line Callibration to Extreme. I think I'll try it out and see if I can get it stabilized.

Hi I my fx6300 overclocked to 4.3ghz and it runs perfectly stable. But when I do a cold reboot i get a boot failure due to overclocking message. Any ideas what might be causing this?
What setting is the LLC at and what voltage are you sitting at. Also in BIOS check to see if the fans are turning on max speed when booting to keep temps stable.

Your welcome aw that sucks well perhaps I can do a video on swapping out fans in the future. Possibly replace just the fans themselves or perhaps a good cleaning sometimes those fans get really dusty and clogged!

bad content here , so bad and hasty made ,like 20 mins recording and 10 mins editing worth.like where are the basics a noob wants to here? press the cmos reset on mobo if u dont boot, or this program (link on description) is for this and that or that its actually a full days worth of testing to get a good steady overclock or that no matter that u have the same mobo/cpu combo it doesnt mean u can reach the same Ghz as this cause ur chip is unique potential wise (meaning u could be lucky getting steady 5!Ghz or get shit on getting bsGhz)? ,also mind that amd suggests max temp for fx series is 65~70C not 85-90C that u mention,that kind of heat is for intel chips. i wont mention the bad voice-music volume ratio nor the quality drop at some point but what got me actually triggered ,like rl bad , was the donation links on the description instead of the download links for some usefull s#$t. if u actually want to get donations get better on this,watch some youtube videos on what to do

You are not overclocking with APM mode set to auto. I admire your tutorial but bro you should be doing benchmarks and if you were you would notice that with APM mode on you really arent overclocking shit. APM mode on = NO OVERCLOCK is really the best way I can describe that haha. I have the same board and CPU and I am VERY familiar with overclocking on this board.

oh, okay. 78C is miles better than 96C, but still pretty high. but good vid, dude. i've had the CPU for about 3 months now and its a lil beast. was really surprised by the performance from a almost 5 year old chip. the 6 core kinda threw me off considering its actually 3 cores 6 threads, but still very powerful.
