in about 68 they used to practice in a hall that belonged to the oxford and bermondsey club in
pages walk , every thursday we used to sneak in the back of the club and see them practice , a free quo concert every thursday what else could a boy need

I remember my eldest seeing it live at a tribute gig when she was 9 and watching a normally quiet kid bouncing around as she heard it for the first time - she was the same age as I was when it came out. Just a fun song

In truth I personally hated 'Rockin all over the World', but to me your Dad could do no wrong and although the original single was ***t, you have done this track real justice. ..well done you all.... special praise to your outstanding powerhouse drummer....OMG!!!!
I really enjoyed RPJ’s set at Isle of Wight he played loads of standards and smashed some of them - Nirvana, GnR, Bon Jovi - he’s just a fun band to watch and it was great in such a venue as the IOW festival
Loved your Frantic Four clip….went to the Glasgow gigs which were amazing…felt quite emotional hearing Junior’s Wailing with Alan on lead vocals again…Quo did re-record it with Rick taking the lead which was also brilliant….but fair play to Rick Jr keeping the flame alive….I personally can’t accept the latest version of Quo without Rick….I think it’s a travesty….I know a lot of fans don’t agree…but that’s just my opinion…Thanks for a great vlog, Kenny
@@kjm5155 hi Kenny, not seen them since before Covid but was at Milton Keynes in 84 for the “final” show, am thinking of seeing them in Halifax this year as I genuinely believe it may be the last and if they are crap I love the support - The Alarm so it won’t be a bad night

Sad what happened to Rick, but being totally honest here, this is a good covers band, 100s like em up and down the land, just this one can trade off the name, so much so it's the name of the band. If it wasn't for the name, you'd be seeing them down your local Yates for free.
@@SausageFingers73 the main thing in his favour he had the resources to build a strong band of good musicians which gives a hell of a range of styles and it shows in the performance, in that set they switched from Nirvana to Guns & Roses seamlessly.
@@TravelAdventuresWithIanMelton Yea, i'm not dismissing the fact that they're very tight, they are very good, but no different in standard to lots of bands up and down the country, equally as tight, that aren't so fortunate. I've been lucky enough to be in a couple, back in the day. Sadly 10 to 15 years before social media etc, more's the pity (I think)
