@@JKWARGAMES great .. thanks for the reply .. me and the kids are looking forward to this. we are trying blackpowder 2 rules but don't seem to flow right . This seem's more .. reactive type of game play.. a hint of bolt action ish.. and were really looking forward to trying your rules . Any way we can help please ask
Very interesting ! I love it that you put your Infantry on a square socket with 4 miniatures because I play with the old Napolein’s Battles system of Avalon Hill. I hate changing the bases. I could buy a big British Army at the end of 2019 at the Tin soldier convention (Antwerp) but of course Corona killed all my group play. How does this play solo? I guess it could work great with all that uncertainty in the Command structure.
im really liking the order phase youve made, reminds me of chain of command. i dont play Naps but i do play ACW so will be intersting to see if the rules can be used in ACW
Ok a couple of questions. 1)Did you just make up a free set of wargaming rules and give them away? 2)Were inspired by other games, I've never seen a set of rules that had you use the doce in that way. 3) If you save your 1's on the commander, do you still roll 10 dice on subsequent order phases?
Not giving away they will be published on Amazon. I am inspired by all the games I play and try to design in a imaginative way. If you save 1s you use them in the rally phase before the next command phase. Many thanks
This looks genuinely interesting and, from my albeit limited knowledge, looks highly original. I’m very interested and look forward to hearing more. Just have a couple of questions... 1. If you allocate ‘Rally Dice’ to your Brigadier and save them for following turns, do you lose that number of dice from your starting pool of 10 dice until the Rally Dice are spent? 2. What figure scale do the rules use? 3. Can your Brigadier issue more than one Order Dice to a single unit, eg could you allocate two movement dice to a unit to allow it to move twice? 4. Does your Commander’s Order Dice bonus 6 have to be ‘spent’ on units within the same Brigade or can then be spread across different Brigades? 5. Are there any distance restrictions on the allocation of orders by either the Army Commander or Brigadier? 6. For larger games will there be a role for Divisional Commanders? Sorry for the number of questions but, as I said, my interest has definitely been stimulated! Thank you.
Hi you do not lose any order dice, the rally phase happens last. Any scale can be used. A 6 is used on the army general not brigade commander. Units can not be given more than 1 order unless from the army general. Thanks for your interest jk
I am looking for a NAPOLEONIC SKIRMISH GAME RULES for Small units .. Is there any ?
