I thought that was funny when you said you walked around when Sacrifice, Demolition Hammer played. Hell I would have loved to seen them back in the days. Im looking forward to seeing Sodom at the Hells Heroes next year in Houston Tx. Killer video.
Those OG shirts are on fucking point dude! I don't care for wanting white colored band shirts though. Mine need to be all black. Amazing you got to see many bands back in their classic glory days. Can't believe you walked away when Demolition Hammer was playing, especially if that was during the Epidemic of Violence era. That album is banger as fuck.
Yea still a little disappointed I didn't watch those bands play but I was way too much into Death Metal at the time to care anyway so it's just a sign of the times I guess. Saw Demolition later on when I was more into them so It kinda makes up for it , hahah.
Hi Dennis!!! Wow you have seen a lot of sick concerts and have the t-shirts to probe you were there, lol..... that's awesome. I would love to see some of those early thrash bands Slayer and D.R.I., Possessed, Exodus with Baloff. cheers and be well
Cool you saw Necrophagia live. I never did. That's the logo they used for the Harvest Ritual Vol 1 album, which I own and I also own their Cannibal Holocaust ep, when Phil Anselmo was still with them. I also have the Through The Eyes Of The Dead DVD and a concert DVD they released. Too bad Anselmo and Killjoy didn't reconcile their differences before Killjoy died.
Awesome video bro!! I can't believe you have all the shirts still....mine are gone with the wind. I like yourself, have seen TONS of shows. I'll just list 3 of my faves: 1) The infamous Cro-Mags/Destruction tour. I saw it in Tallahassee, FL and it was one of the shows a bunch of journalists came to, and shit got out of hand. 2) Slayer/Testament/Death in 88, Orlando Fl, Death was added because they were local, and they fucking crushed it. It was in a hockey arena, and when Slayer played all the fans in the bleachers jumped onto the floor, and the fucking SWAT team was called!! 3) Kreator and Morgoth, and the club double booked the date, so we got to see Trouble as well, which was weird but awesome!! BONUS: Death in Pensacola, Fl at the end of the Leprosy tour, they had fired Rick Rozz, and James Murphy was there and watched from the crowd. Death played as a 3 piece!!
Jealous of the CRO MAGS Destruction show!!Man I always thought that combo ruled! Death , Slayer and Testament !! Yes seen them all but they always ruled back in the day.
I saw the Cro-Mags/Destruction in St. Pete, FL at Jannus Landing. Easily Top 3 show for me, it was a madhouse from the stage all the way to the back. Crazy energy
Dennis you rock brother! Thanks for doing this entry and your support man. Wow some killer OSDM shows and thrash, punk, hip hop etc. Slayer in 86?! And with DRI. Damn that is epic. And Possessed. Thats my childhood right there. Yeah its true Punks and Metalheads did not get along in the 80s. Until some crossover started happening. Exodus with Balof! Sick PE shirt too. With Too Short thats dope. Yeah I think me and my budddy were the only white guys at a PE show in 89. All worked out tho. What a killer band and show. Would love to see Morbid Angel, Bolt Thrower, Dismember, Overkill.. missed Suffication last time they toured. Had tix too. Seen Exodus, Obituary and Napalm Death all are in my top 20 shows. Cheers! 🤘
I have my War Master Earache long sleeve from 91 and i went and checked sale prices on Fleabay and nearly fell off my chair,1200 US for a good example that sold and hundreds for any rough as Bolt Thrower shirt.Have about a dozen of my old tees left of Thrash,Death and Metal bands half tour merch from 80's early 90's but most of my shirts were worn to death.
24:40 I love me some DRI. They're probably responsible for my transition from a PUNK OR DIE shithead to accepting there's more styles of music out there worth listening to.
I agree dude, they were the ones that added in metal kinda here and there and then all of a sudden they were a crossover band , literally .hahaha. Always great live, seen them like 5 or 6 times, never disappoint. Cheers
MY Favorite is Def Leppard 1983 pyromania tour with British British flag shirt was awesome when I was 18 i thought wish I would pick up Uriah Heep shirt also was great concert while people were getting high during Uriah heep was able to get up to 5th row couldn't hear after the concert for 30 minutes
The guy who took over for Cronos is Tony Dolan. I’ve seen a ton of shows myself. 1) Cro-Mags and Exploited at the Ventura theater. That show was one long riot and totally insane. 2) RKL at a Chinese restaurant. The owner had no clue who they were booking at all! Whole place got trashed and I nearly got knocked out! 3) TSOL & The Dwarves. This was in Orange County and it was an album release show for TSOL. Dwarves open up by saying “we’re the Dwarves and we’re the best F###ing band in the world” after which an audience member leapt from the bar and landed right on top of me

I actually watched some of Sacrifice's set just got hungry I guess. lol. I'm sure Sodom is gonna kill, they never really disappoint.
Lots of great shirts here! Great video
