- The singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran has been entertaining troops in Afghanistan. During the 48 hours the Brit Award-winner spent in Camp Bastion, he was given a taste of what life is like for the troops by trying out some of the equipment before performing two live shows for service personnel.

They are not fighting against Afghanistan they are fighting along side the Afghan Army against the terrorist organisations. Don't want to get into details.
