Andy Goldstein shouldn't be considered someone with a clue about football.
This is so right, Goldstein is the lowest IQ presenter around he is just awful.
It can’t all be about trophies can it Andy, there are probably 16 teams in the PL who know they cannot win it at the beginning of the season.
So why play at all, if it’s all about trophies why train and go out and play each week knowing they can’t win or it or even get anywhere near it? Are all 18 teams who don’t win the PL failures?
You absolute muppet!!!
I didn't realise he was.

Yes he was amazing, but he also coached in the PL for longer than anyone. Ofc he will have more trophies
As a Man City fan i admit Klopp has made the PL much better. The competition between Pep and Klopp has raised the level of winning to a new level. 85 points would win the league previously. Now its a min of 90 to win the league thats the standards he set with Pep.
Klopp getting 97 ,99, 92 and to 3 champions league finals,in 8 full seasons and winning every trophy I hope the next liverpool manager does that.

@ajnz2420
You’re completely missing the point. Klopp’s sides have 3 out of the top 8 most points accumulated in EPL history. All in a six year period. The fact that Liverpool only won one title with 99, 97, and 92 points is completely off the charts and a complete anomaly. The reality is people do have to take into account the points won (particularly 97 points) because it just shows how insanely great City’s sides have been under Pep. To win 97 points out of a possible 114 points and not win the league is a level of absurdity that is hard to grasp.
7-0 makes him a legend you fool😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
In Liverpool
I get why people don’t consider Klopp a PL legend with only one PL trophy but Goldstein is so hard to listen to because his football knowledge is so poor and his logic ridiculously stupid
But the people calling him a pl league are at talksport.its just gaslighting. Goldstein just wants to talk about Fergie.
Why? Tell me , I'm listening!! Stop being dumb 🥷... tell us why he's a legend... I'll tell you why he's not
He is not pl legend.. If 1 po is enough why is nobody talk about ranieri?
Not a Liverpool fan, so not being bias. He took over a Liverpool team, that needed a complete overhaul, while also trying to get his style across. They had won no League Title in 30 odd years, so there was no winning mentality there, like Pep had when he went in at City. He had to nearly get every transfer spot on, as they couldn't afford to spend big on a player and it not working out. Example would be, Maguire, Antony and Pogba at Man United, Ndombele at my club, Chelsea recent signings etc. He got them to 3 Champions League Finals, Europa League Final, won FA Cup, League Cups, Champions League, Super Cup and World Club Cup. While giving Liverpool the one they craved the most, the Premier League title. He was the first manager ever, to have his team, play the maximum amount of games possible, with the 4 main Competition's. Was 2 games away, from an incredible Quadruple. No team will ever, lose out on a title, with 97 points, only 1 point off of City and only losing 1 game. The getting 92 points and again some how, losing the title by a point again. Going toe to toe, with a manager and endless money of City. Not to mention he had, Pochettinos Tottenham, Chelsea's Tuchel, Pep City, Jose Man United. If he was at City or Chelsea and had the spending power of them two, it would of been a famers League, nobody would be catching his teams. He would easily of won more than one Champions League at City to, which is a fact. When he got Liverpool to 3 finals, Pep has only been in 2 and won the same amount as Klopp in Champions League with City. Arteta has been at Arsenal for 5 years, spent over £600 Million, only has an FA Cup to show for it. So anybody questioning Klopp as a great and a legend, is clueless. This is Talksport, so no surprise with them really.

In the 2006-2007 season, they secured an astounding 89 points.
In the 2007-2008 season, they reached an exceptional 87 points.
In the 2008-2009 season, they garnered a remarkable 90 points.

Legend should not be defined by how many titles you win and even as a United fan Klopp is a legend of the league. But if you rate greatest managers in the english football because football didnt start in the PL era only then Klopp would likely just make top 10. But he has done more for the city of Liverpool on and off the pitch and that is also very important
Andy Goldstein shouldn't be labelled a radio pundit!
I really like klopp. He’s a Liverpool legend, not a prem legend. Trophies speak volumes. He’s still great tho but not in the same category as Ferguson for sure.
The Klopp love-in Goldstein refers to has been going on for years. They've just turbocharged it since he announced he's leaving.

United fans like Goldstein cannot get it right. Pep can't be a better manager and bigger legend than Ferguson because City are cheaters. But when it comes to Klopp's time in the premier league, United fans never mention the 115.

Not sure why I am commenting in reply to this. But let’s get something straight, Klopp is a legend because he will be remembered as part of a glorious period of football in the premier league, against the odds he challenged a team with the best squad, best manager and a team that potentially cooked the books to allow them to stay on top. A legend is someone that is remembered. Robbie Fowler and Alan Shearer are premier league legends.. are we going to say what they did doesn’t matter because they didn’t join Utd in the 90s ?Andy Goatface is just trying to be controversial as always and never says anything intelligent on here.
If football was all about stats, it’s time to take away all the trophies available.
What does that nonsense even mean
Here we go again, AG acting as devils advocate and coming across as clueless.
Premier League Titles: Under Wenger’s guidance, Arsenal won the Premier League title three times. These victories occurred in the following seasons:
1997-1998: Arsenal secured the title with 78 points.
2001-2002: The “Invincibles” team went unbeaten throughout the season and amassed an impressive 90 points.
2003-2004: Again, the “Invincibles” achieved an extraordinary feat, remaining undefeated and accumulating 90 points.
Points Accumulation: While Wenger’s teams consistently finished in the top four, they did not surpass the 90-point mark in other seasons.
Fergie left after the 12-13 season, Conte and Pellegrini's wins were not against him
I'm a Liverpool fan and Klopp is not a Premier League Legend. He was a great manager but I still put other managers far ahead of him by miles. Pep, Fergie for example.
Curious, take Fergie and Wenger out, as they are undoubtedly legends, who would be a managerial legend in the prem? In my opinion, Jurgen is a legend. Oh and Pep is an legend also, no doubt.

Get ready for the cringe fest, and the funeral song
In the last 7 years, Klopp is the only manager to really challenge City.. its like Jimmy White never winning a world title, but to not call him a legend would be ridiculous
The turnaround he has overseen at Liverpool is quite an achievement in itself. We were languishing in mid table as after thoughts, played Champions League once in 5 years before he came in. He is most certainly a legend at Liverpool and in my opinion that's all that matters.
The premier league is better now than it was when Fergie was at Man U. Debate over.
Sir alex Ferguson, arsene Wenger and mourinho those 3 are premier league legends, the rest are their own club legends
If Klopp had won the same in 8 years at Man United, Andy would want a statue built for him outside Old Trafford 🤦♂️
And when did Conte or Pellegrini ever compete against Fergie and win? He retired in 2013 and they won it in 2014 and 2015

For me Klopp is a Premier League legend yes by the body of work he has. Also he isn't top 3 managers of all time in the Premier League because that's where the titles need to start counting Sir Alex, Pep and Jose are the top 3. Maybe he fights it out for 4th and 5th with the other managers.

He is right in terms of trophies but even I admire what klopp done and for all the other things apart from the 1 title which I’m very happy they not won more he is a legend as much as I don’t wanna say it
What you have to ask is who did Man C hate playing? Who could play them off the park? Not a trophy but we were the only team who could spank them. If the 115 charges are proven then we should have had more titles. As should Arsenal, Utd etc.
