Aww the people were so amazing and kind especially Naoko!, so cool that she took an interest in your work and said goodbye in person when you left the island
OMG!! Oshima already looked pretty great and special in Chris's video (recommended for anyone who wants to see Kiri-san, btw!) but now it really looks quite magical. I'm also in love with Naoko San! 😍 Saving this video for my next trip to Japan. Oh, and it's always nice to see Ian in the background! I do little waves 😅
Oh Emma, what a great travel video! You outdid yourself on this one. So many contrasting things to see and do and taste. I love that you are nice to elderly people and they love you because you come from your heart and not your head. You’re such a special woman and l thank you for sharing all these amazing experiences with us. A big hug to you from Adelaide. SA. 💓🦋🌸
What an amazing place to visit! The people you met seemed so amazing, and how special that Naoko-san came to the ferry to see you off!! Definitely hope to get there someday myself!!
Love seeing Emma traveling and just having a fun chill time. She deserves to be happy! 🤗 The bug toys were adorable! Also it was heartwarming that Naoko was so nice!!
Emma, I have been watching you for years and I love every single video you make, but this one really got me. The joy, care, and respect you show every place you go and person you meet really shines here. Seeing Naoko-san come see you off at the ferry really made me cry! It was so clear you connected with each other and it's a once in a lifetime experience to share with us on such a humble, human level. Thank you for being you.
After you and Chris covering this island I really want to go. Especially when there's amazing people like Naoko who live/work there. I didn't expect her to send you off, that tugged at my heart strings so much. I'd want to say one more goodbye to you too. Lol Oshima looks like a great area to go at your own pace and take in everything.
Oshima is so beautiful! From the people to the scenery😍 Naoko coming to say goodbye was so cute to see. And the owner of Triton is living the dream! Pursuing his passion and also having on display his love for bugs. So cool!❤
We really loved this video. When/if we make a trip to Japan we’re definitely thinking of visiting this island now. Seems like a very friendly and wholesome place.
Oh the vibes are so excellent and warm... soooo many interesting places, lovely people, and gorgeous scenery! Naoko is absolutely crush material oh my goodness what a precious human! 💞 Thank you as always for the delightful videoooo! ✨
Just a little pop culture tidbit. The MV for the song "endless Story" from an all-female hard rock band Band-Maid was filmed on the island of Izu Oshima. The cinematography is fantastic. And it's a good song.
Aww what a cool place, and everyone's so nice what the heck? I recognised the black volcanic desert from Band Maid's Endless Story video - I thought it was somewhere cold in the north! Such a pretty and unique location though, looks like you're on another planet with all that fog rolling in. And all that greenery in the same place too
Yes...perfect way to start my morning on a weekend. a freaking excellent video with tokidoki. So great and wholesome. Fun too .TY Emma for your hardwork!!
Additional comment on the video...I love the guys you spent the first night at....his concept of travel like you live here is totally personified by him and totally dangerous cuz now I want to live there lol!!
Jet foil ferries are great! You can get a combo package of a jet foil ticket with a 3day, iirc) bus pass when going to Sado island. You can pick it up at Niigata
Emma, this is the best video I've seen for a while. You seem like you really had a great trip. And I loved the end when you were about to get on the ferry. Thank you!
Looks very tropical… wonder how cold it can get there now in the winter. Also, would love to see more Explorer Emma explore more naturey places like that desert and shrine area! 🙃
omg all the people you met seemed so lovely! What an awesome island. I want to move there now haha. All the food looked so good and I love how the owners were so passionate about their businesses and really let their personalities shine through in them
I think people really make a place. Looks like a really beautiful place, and I don't just mean the landscapes. Another place to add to the list of places I really want to visit!
What an amazing group of people you met there ! very interesting island, never heard of it before (probably missed the Mr Broad 's video haha). Taking note of the different places !! thank you :)
Unfortunately I will never be able to afford to visit Japan, but if I win the lottery, Japan is the first place I want to visit. I never knew I wanted to visit Japan until I started watching Tokyo Creative. As always thanks for sharing your beautiful country with us.

Ohhhh new vid! Oshima is definitely on the bucket list. Seems like such a wonderfully chill vibe. Right up my alley and I wouldn't mind spending a good amount of time there. Also, the windblown Emma pic is now my fav pic of you, too. You look like an anime character. Thanks for the tour! This was a good one. Habusukiiiii!
Tayaki! I was a few years ago taking part in Japanese cooking course and we made few Japanese common foods and Tayaki was also included in food preparation classes. This video was so heartwarming!
That place looks amazing, and your video was so good. The people seemed so nice, but mixed with a hint of choas energy in the best way possible. Also ngl, that clip of you yelling headfirst into the desert wind is metal af 🤘
Immaculate vibes, beautiful people, and such interesting places (the big volcanic hill with the mist and wind looked amazing)! Hope you can come back to see Naoko-san in a video in the not so distant future :D
UA-cam! You didn't give me a notification for Emma's new video! now my evening is ruined and I hate everything......except for the video, love the video Emma.

Seriously the nicest people I’ve ever met on a trip! Usually people are lovely but I felt so so welcome here 😭
This video was not just relaxing, but also kind of... Heartwarming. So many nice people and wow the owner came to say goodbye, that's special.

I feel like this is the highest concentration of really kind and friendly people in a single area in Japan. Great vlog and lovely little island.

Heck yes! More Tokidoki! Glad to have more wonderful (and hydrofoil filled) adventure.
