Seriously this seems like the BEST place to stay for a fun weekend in Asakusa! I love how you can experience all the traditional Japanese things that Asakusa has to offer like renting kimono, going to the food stalls and visiting the temple, and then you can stay the night at THIS place and do it all again the next day. It's literally too perfect!
That spot looks amazing!!! I stayed in prince park tower before but I’m definitely staying in that ryokan for a few nights when Japan opens up again!! Beautiful view 😮✨
That was so freaking nice of them to gift to you the night in that wonderful room. The room was so well designed and spacious. All the extra rooms and quality build and materials are a nice touch, it definitely has a great wow factor. Wide, long, low windows gave a comforting ambiance even though the ryokan is surrounded by a "hustle-and-bustle" area. Loved the "DONK" moment lol.:)
I am trying so hard not to be envious. That must be one of the best-situated Ryokans in Japan. I am instantly starting saving today so I can stay there if ever I can get to come back to Japan. I am glad you had such a great experience Emma. You rocked it so well. One thing though I tried to use the Ryokan site and found it difficult to use and could not find the Ryokan you stayed at in Asakusa. Cheers, from Muffy from Oz (Australia)
That room looks amazing and the view!!!! It was cool to see Mikan in your video. But man I could feel your pain about missing out on the street food damn. Rip
The music choices in this was top class. Lovely video, I totally haven't spent the last hour researching what the cost would be to get a wooden bath in my own house.
Dang it now I'm hungry. Oh well off to make ramen almost from scratch. The view from Sky Tree looks like what you see outside in a snowstorm in Minnesota. At least it isn't -16 c in Tokyo like it is here.
I don’t know when I’d ever get the chance but I think a new goal is getting to stay in a ryokan at some point in my life because that place looked amazing
It was January when you said it started snowing, but watching it on a February night, I looked over and it started snowing here too :) Something something immersion.
12:34 No it doesn't Emma, your droopy relaxed eyelids clearly indicate you've been in that bath for a while! what an awesome suite in an awesome ryokan in an awesome spot. I must really visit Asakusa next time I'm in Japan. I've been in Tokyo twice and I neve made it there because we were staying out west in Tachikawa and had to prioritize!
Emma! I didn't knew that red bean soup with toasted Mochi exists. ✨😭 I immediately wrote it down in my notes. Please let the borders be open next year. Thank you for the nice vlog. 🌹
I love that when asked about potential competition regarding western style hotels he gives a nod to good service and adds on what his hotel can give rather than being well you can have a dumpter or a nice bath lol
I'm sad that I still can't go back to japan... but watching you have so much fun drowns the sadness away :') thanks for being awesome Emma, can't wait to cath your next stream and summon Waloog
This place looks stunning and what a perfect location! This was a part of Tokyo I didn't get to see when I visited in 2019. Now I know exactly where I'm going to stay the next time I go! Thanks for the video!
It's such a lovely area to explore. The Tourist Information Center designed by architect Kengo Kuma (which was visible from one of your balcony shots) is worth a visit (it's free) for the architecture and some of the views from the upper floors if you don't need actual information. Asakusa Station's Ginza Line connects to numerous stations which are hubs to other lines and elsewhere between the terminus in Asakusa and the one in Shibuya. That bath... so, so, jealous. Sigh.
WHY ARENT PEOPLE LIKING THE VIDEOS!! ALMOST 150K AND 7K LIKES? Emma is hilarious in comparison to other vloggers she puts so much personality to her edits. Give tue Aussie some likes to put her on the Reccos
Wow! The beautiful snow, especially with the view at the top! That was phenomenal and I so wish I could be there! I miss the snow now that I live in California lol
To be warm, I would recommend investing in a quilted coat that covers your hips and ideally down to mid calf - you will always be toasty and eager to be outside : - )
Wowowow gorgeous room!! Love the bath🤩
Was so lucky! Such a great place 😭
@@TokidokiTraveller I will also attest to the importance of warm eyeballs. There's some special kind of relaxation that comes with it.
@@TokidokiTraveller Coming home again must have felt like a downgrade compared to that hotel.
@@CM-ss5pe How do I know when my eyeballs are not warm though?
Wow your friend Vina is really good at monjyayaki
Word spread around town that she’s the BEST

What a dream place to stay. So close to a large entertainment spot and just beautiful!
That spot looks amazing!!! I stayed in prince park tower before but I’m definitely staying in that ryokan for a few nights when Japan opens up again!! Beautiful view 😮✨
Yes I recommend it! Seriously was so beautiful and such a good location. And the staff were super friendly 🥰

Wow what an amazing modern but comfortable room!
Glad to see I am not the only grown up that gets excited about snow like a child! Also, that ryokan has a great location.
That view is insane!
立地条件良すぎ!!! The location is AMAZING!!!! Enjoy there!
It was perfect! Definitely going to recommend to friends and family visiting
Creepy toilet lady was my favourite 😆
So jealous Emma! Hopefully I get to experience a ryokan when I go to Japan this summer.
Also your hair is so cool!
Thanks Matcha Muncher! I hope you get to experience it too, so much fun. And hope you’re not too uncomfortable in summer!

Shadow Emma ‘dork dancing’ is my VIIIBBBEEE!
I definitely have tub envy. That wood bath looks amazing.
That Ryokan looks amazing! What an amazing couple of days that would have been. Super fun
I died laughing when you started doing that shadow dance. I almost choked on my breakfast. 🤣🤣🤣
this is my reliable feelgood channel. keep it up emma, love from indonesia
That ryokan was beautiful!!! I love the tiny acorn decorations on the corner of the tub, they're so cute ♡. Thank you for the lovely video!
Your shadow on the wall and the 'doink' on the window are just some of the fun things I really enjoy about your videos!
Emma! Your videos are such a vibe!
Amazing Ryokan! Hinoki wood...the best!. Thanks Emma.
Thank you for the charming video!
You're the best, Emma!
Thank you Emma!
A wonderful visit!
You made a gray day in Maine, much more pleasant!
👍👍
This Ryokan I think is how I think I'd design my home, it's such a nice mix of old and new~.
I've binged enough videos from all y'all guys over in Japan that I can correctly guess the place in the thumbnail is Asakusa. I feel quite proud ngl.
Definitely something to be proud of!
Great to see you Sooo HAPPY
I love that we’re getting more videos from you! What a great sponsor! Living your best life!
You’re so freaking chill. Love the vids!
What a fun relaxing trip. That location was AMAZING!
What a nice ryokan! And right in Tokyo!
I gasped when you opened the front door omg! its so gorgeous.

An Emma vid right after I wake up? NICE
Good morning!

Your videos always brighten my day ☀️
The shadow dancing had me laughing out loud, after midnight. 😆👍
First time I've been so early. I would love to visit one later this year.
Thanks for coming by so early!!
Pasta + Tokidoki Traveller’s new video = Perfect Friday Dinner
This ryokan looks amazing…. I stayed in a ryokan few streets from there in 2019, the experience was just great…but no cedar bath sadly
I 100% loved this video. Thank you for this post. Cheers
Goodness gracious, that hotel room is incredible. Wow. Lucky you being able to stay in it!
This was so lovely, thank you for showing us around! It's really cool to see stuff like this.😄
I don’t know when I’d ever get the chance but I think a new goal is getting to stay in a ryokan at some point in my life because that place looked amazing
trust me, that's a very good goal in general!

That's such a flex for Vina, being complimented by the servers for your monjayaki skills.
Looks like a wonderful place to relax 🙂😁
A good hotel bed is always awesome, especially in winter after a long day. Nice hotel, will defo have a look next time i'm there.
I’m getting so much second hand relaxation from this 😴 I want one of those tubs
I have to say, that is a really good looking hotel room.
I love that when asked about potential competition regarding western style hotels he gives a nod to good service and adds on what his hotel can give rather than being well you can have a dumpter or a nice bath lol
Wow! I would have never have guessed that beautiful hotel was 75 yrs old, it looks new. Totally blew my perception of a Ryokan. Great adventure!
The hotel and food look heavenly, wow. Great video.
Nice place to stay!
Wow the shots of the Koi and Snow - Tops! Nice nice
Always excited to see you’ve uploaded! The room looks so nice
Nice start to the weekend to watch this. Thanks Emna
When that snowflake fell on that bird, my heart skipped a beat
What a gorgeous room, and that bath! I do wish you had shown more of the snow! (maybe a nice tokyo creative activity?)
That hotel seems so beautiful! :)
13:23 - 😂
Lovely video as always, thanks for allowing us to ''travel'' through Japan with you!
the koi in the snow was a gorgeous shot.
I'm sad that I still can't go back to japan... but watching you have so much fun drowns the sadness away :') thanks for being awesome Emma, can't wait to cath your next stream and summon Waloog
I use a similar heated eye mask - it’s great if you have issues with dry eye, it’s very moisture promoting

Awesome video, also, I’m obsessed with the color of that red/orange sweater 😍 underrated clothing color option imho
Emma: "I've walked passed this so many times, I'm sure you guys have aswell if you've been in the area".
Me: [cries in poor]
😅 I hope you can visit in the future!!
@@TokidokiTraveller insha'Allah
Hotel beds are so awesome anyways. Sleep usually comes very easy when you're super relaxed.
been binging your videos lately, idk why but they're fun to watch. Hopefully you'll be doing those countryside videos again tho.
This was so nice, it was perfect in every way. What a lucky girl you are!
Really great you got to spend time with Vina and Taylor B
That hotel was beautiful. Should booked there for my trip. Thank you.
that bossa nova playing in the background tho.. luv it
Perhaps i shed a tear. This is so beautiful i wanna go there
Looks so relaxing. Asakusa wa natsukashina. Seems like it's snowing quite frequently in Tokyo this winter.
Love this sweater w your hair color so cute! Great vid :-)
I'd love to see a video with a tall person :). I remember going to a Ryokan in Kobe years ago. Incredibly relaxing, but not designed for the talls.
Oh woooow! And it's right on top of Nakmise-dori. Defs adding this to my list when it's safe to travel again.
Second comment just to say how amazing that breakfast looks omg
Okay that koi snowy shot was extra magical like wtf. Whole video is man
really cool that they let you stay at that ryokan you know it good when you don't want to leave also it was nice to see tokyo sky tree at the end
WOW! That room AND that view AND that neighborhood are all AMAZING!!
Absolutely love this video. Japan is home for me and I haven't been back in years, but watching the snow fall over sensoji temple took me back.
Lovely video thanks for sharing 👍 🥰
How gorgeous! I've been to Asakusa but didn't stay there... just visited the market. I'll put this ryokan on my list for my visit next year! Gorgeous!

I stood on this bridge and watch the koi. Love Tokyo🥰
It looks so beautiful there! You're lucky to have gotten to stay there. :)
Waaah I’m so sad I missed this ryokan when I was visiting. I’ll definitely have to stay here next time when Japan is open for tourists again!
Wow! SO AMAZING!
