The League can change the rules at any time ,especially dealing with the League owners ,and look at how Joe Tsai played around with Kyrie Irving. Then to make matters worse ,Joe Tsai didn't want Kyrie to go back to the Lakers which is his competition , so the League blocked Kyrie from going to the Lakers , so Kyrie made the decision to go to Dallas since Joe Tsai blocked the LA deal, but yet Ja Morant can do all this crazy stuff.

Ja appeals more to the younger crowd who in turn either spends their own or spends their parents money on his merch and pays more attention to the nba based off of the fact that he is the new new. Y’all know all these new youngsters super hard nowadays and that’s what sells. Kyrie appeals more to the 30 plus crowd that’s been watching him and doesn’t spend as much on his merch or pay as much attention to him. Not saying that age group wasn’t playing gangsta in their younger years but at this point a lot of them have grown up with kids trying to start businesses and doing more productive shit with their time.
