POV: i am here to find my hidden talent that i can't find because it is so hidden
edit: woah so much likess until noww! anyways thank u guys for the support hope we find our talents
At least yours exists
no, i'm a ghost👻
Keep it hidden ^^
Same, it's so hard to not have talent 😭
actually i have talents but, it faded away and hides itself.......bts and blackpink just bring it back to life👀
The worst part of learning a stray kids dance is when you spend an hour to learn 15 seconds and realize you look horrible.
edit: to all of y'all telling me to start with something easier, I am a dancer, I know.
Learning stray kids choreos are super hard you do a lot of movement with your upper and lower body
I feel you T^T
THEY'RE CHOREO'S ARE SO DUCKING POWERFUL
thats funny
they're literally the most difficult dances ever -
Tip #1 counting
Tip #2 start slow
Tip #3 record yourself
Tip #4 be consistent
Tip #5 actively watch dance video
Thanks couldn't be bothered to watch the whole video
tyy
When i was doing gymnasticks and stuff and we had a “dance” and we ALWAYS was counting
It is indeed a good tip
Tyyyyyyyy😊😊😊😊
For those with body dysmorphia or dysphoria that have a hard time recording yourself, Wear baggy clothes and maybe even a mask (we all should have one cause of the panaroni) also remember you don’t have to show your practice to anyone (although showing to other dancers can help you get feedback)
Thanks for the tips :)
yeaa wearing a mask really helps me 'cause my facial expressions sucks and it really distract me😭
The face mask one is a great tip but I don't recommend wearing baggy clothes all the time because you should see the form of your body clearly so you can know if you're doing the right thing. But I do wear baggy clothes just not all the time.
🙌
Omg thank youuuuuu I hate recording myself because I look weird but I will take your tip
Today is my first day of learning K-Pop dancing 😅 wish me luck 😂
Good luck ❣️🌸
Good luck! And what dance are you gonna learn? ^^
Good luck sister I hope u be success

@♥︎𝕟𝕠𝕥 𝕤𝕠 𝕙𝕒𝕡𝕡𝕪 Aww, don't lose hope! I know you can surely achieve it, I beleive in you lovleyy!!
Tell me about it 😂
This is so me😭😭
I’ve been dancing for 1 year and when I record myself, I lose all motivation to dance because I look so bad. Everyone else I’ve seen on yt has made big improvements in 1 year
You got this! It’s okay if you haven’t improved a lot in one year, dancing can be hard! 💜
don't compare yourself to others. it can only bring you down with that attitude
frr except that Ive been dancing for 2 damn years :(
The key is to practice like everyday! I usually practice everyday for 4-6 hours! Don’t give up!
@@eko_- Thank you!
So I’ve been dancing for like almost 8 years now, and I do want to add some tips that might be helpful~
1. Make sure to stretch before you dance otherwise you may pull a muscle or hurt yourself (not fun)
2. Be confident and don’t be really stiff with the moves (basically keep your arms and legs strong but dont keep them so stiff it looks like your movement isnt a flow) - i hope that made sense
3. Learn the choreography a few steps at a time then go back and practice it at your preferred speed, then keep adding on more steps and practicing. When you feel comfortable with that speed and you’re confident you know the moves, you can try the normal speed (or a speed faster than the one you practiced with)
4. You don’t have to use counts, you can relate some parts of the choreo to lyrics and then when you hear the lyrics you know the moves.
5. For picking a song you want to learn: Pick one you really like or listen to a lot. When you really like the song, it shows in your expressions and dance, and it looks a lot better overall.
6. CONSISTENCY is KEY! Don’t just practice it once and expect to do it exactly like the mv a week later 💀 thats not how dance works. Try to practice a few times a week, its easier to remember choreography if you practice that often.
7. If you can’t understand a certain move, PLEASE don’t take the easy way and improvise. Go back and actually try to find out what the correct way is. It will look much more cleaner and not as sloppy.
8. ACCENTUATE the moves. To you, it might feel like you are moving a lot, but to someone viewing your dance, it might not look like that, so in order to make it look as clean as possible, accentuate each move (make it look big)
I hope this helps !!
Btw~
I might add more tips later on if I feel like there’s more to include, but this is basically all!
I can explain anything in more detail if needed
Have fun dancing
This is such great advice! Tysm!
omg i also have been dancing for 8 years 🤩
Thank you, this was really helpful advice
I actually want to workout and dance too..but sometimes i end up being tired and i just get confused if i should just workout or dance
@fight so dirty but your love so sweet oh thank you so much..i am still struggling with it
OMG SAME this happens to me too
@@hyeberries5518 yeah i hv checked out
At first when I started dancing as self taught this same thing happens with me but my mom help me and give me an idea that wake up in the morning at 6am do ur daily workout or flexibility exercises and in night 9 am u can do dance practice now my routine is perfect I wake up in morning at 6 am and do my workout and flexibility exercise 6am to 10 the I take rest do my homework home cleaning and other stuff and at in night 8 I do my dance practice 8 to 12 or 1 after that I take shower it really feel well n good for dancer
@@thekpopsibling___5275 yeah i tried that too...but i would get only 5 to 6 hours of sleep..i continued it for a month...i found it difficult that i had no time to study..so i started waking up at 4..i would only get 4 5 hrs of sleep...one sunday i had a worse headache..i had n energy..i was tired throughout the day i culd not concentrate on studying...so i stopped dancing at night
Recording your practice is soooo nerve wracking for me and so important
So true!! I always get super nervous recording myself but it's definitely worth it haha
How do i get better lighting
I feel that !
Same. Whenever I dance in front of a camera my creative juices kind of stop
@@ACE-hw3pv Yaa that's true 😅
I've been self teaching myself kpop dances since 2018 and here are some tips from me as well :)!!!
(I have improved a lot so I think I'll be somehow helpful)
1. Consistency is the key.
2. Pay A LOT of attention to your facials and lip syncing. You can try to play kpop random dances and mostly focus on your face and not dancing. You'll look a lot more confident and attractive.
3. Try to learn how to control your body energy. If you dance to both ggs and bg, like me, you'll have to deal with the issue that your energy will have to change. Bgs usually use a lot of aggressiveness and stamina so you'll have to get tired in order to look decent. Meanwhile, ggs usually use softer and smoother moves so you'll have to work on your body control mostly.
4. Take your time. I personally need almost a month to learn a whole choreo correctly. It's not a shame being a slow learner. Just make sure that you've learnt it decently no matter how much time it took you.
5. If you see that your brain can't focus or can't get it together, dance to other choreos you know and have fun. You'll see that you'll be able to concentrate better after.
I hope I helped! Thank you for the video ❤️
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR ADVICE 💜
Thank you so much 💜
how can I stop being camera shy?
I feel like I look better dancing while I look at myself in the mirror, but when I record myself I look very awkward- any tips?
nothing is awkward unless you make it awkward:)
Pretend as if you’re looking in the mirror or if want to don't look at the camera.
@@hibakmohamed1606 thanks! I'll try it out!
Just watch yourself in camera instead of mirror 😁you will love your own video later
@@illegirlish4254 I'll make sure to try it out!! thanks for the tip!!
Same but when I'm recording, i forgot the next step
I can learn steps but I dont know how to make my dance energetic and clear.
Try doing one that you really enjoy. That's what I do. I'm still a beginner myself so I don't know if this will help but I hope so. We're all in this together!
That kinda just comes with practice over time your body will kinda learn what to do and your stamina will increase making your moves more energetic. I find that working out my core like planks etc has helped to make my moves more strong and sharp.
Same☹️ I can learn steps, but when I started to dancing I look weird.... Especially hand movements and head movements. I am a beginner. So I think practice will help
Dance in front of a mirror or film yourself on the phone(it'll help you to see your mistakes). Make sure that you know all moves and feel confident dancing them. When I was dancing "I can't stop me" I didn't pay enough attention to some moves. Then I film myself on the phone and that was horrible(some part was good while others were weird).
The 2 most important things are practicing and enjoying. Idols practise for tens of hours(I always was wondering why I can't dance like they by practising just 1 hour😅). Slowly you will become more confident(as a result youtr dance become energetic and clear).
Thank you for your attention! Maybe you've heard that tips and I hope they will help just keep going(Rome wasn't built in on day). Love yourself 🤗
*Sorry for my English
I don’t know how much this helps but I’m self taught (most of the time, I admit I have gone for some kpop dance lessons but they weren’t exactly professional, just to learn dances) but I’ve been doing kpop dances for 3 years now so... When starting out, I noticed that the others in the class already had their basics learnt (simple basics like head isolations, chest isolations, chest pops, body waves, simple footwork etc) I think it’d help if one takes time to do simple exercises that will help their basic foundation cause it will really help you. Your technique will be better and doing certain moves will be easier. Then you can focus on mastering the choreography better. Personally it has helped because now I’m really good in using my chest and head isolations.
see you on stage yall💅
See ya 😋😋🤞🏻

Let's just take a moment to appreciate the fact how good her explaining skills are with such a polite tone. This is the first time I've watched her video and she seems so positive and kind. Let's support her in all the ways we as an followers could.
I wanna dance freely but I always feels like there's someone watching me
I just started yesterday and I actually learned BTS' Butter. At first, I thought I couldn't do it because it's so freaking faaast but I started catching up as I kept on practicing. I'm so prouuuud aaaaAaa. WE CAN DO THIS GUYS💜

@@autoshibintehassan4975 Oh come on, I started my first dance at 11. Maybe you can start practising a kpop choreography at 11 too 😊 I mean if you don't want to then that's ok
I always get unmotivated and weak in dancing whenever I see how I look chubby and short. I always lost confidence and that's slowing the progress.....
Don't worry! My friend you can do it! 💪🏻🤍
I can relate ...I don't like what I see in the mirror and just end giving up every single time .
Soo relatable I always think people will judge me also my parents hate it cause I will always do girl group dance and I'm a boy so they think I will fail in life
Hey hey just don’t look in the mirror, you are beautiful and while you learn happily you can loose some chubby! But don’t change for anybody exept for yourself! Do what makes you happy and just dance 💃 dance dance dance all the time and don’t care what anybody thinks about you you are so beautiful you are THE boss and you are amazing at dancing 🥳

This is my first day of TRYING to learn KPOP choreography and I'm currently trying to do FEVER by ENHYPEN, more specifically NI-KI's part (ik im quite ambitious for a beginner) but they were the ones who motivated me to run for my long forgotten dreams and I'm Ni-Ki biased plus this video gave me more motivation and has helped me start off right, so THANK YOU FOR THIS
@-,,Himiko±Rain,,× I learned it: channel - NitzKovers
I'm 12 yo, I have started listening to kpop since 2019 and tried practicing dances. I am really happy to know the full dance of mafia in the morning by Itzy. This makes me realise that I have progressed through the years. Now I am learning Not shy and How you like that
Me: don't understand counts, have mirror of palm size, nthg except phone, no speakers, neither I can ask my parents cuz they think it's waste of money or ask me to focus on studies .... don't even know how I look like when dancing...🤣🤣🤣
Same here pal🙃
1) you can memorize how they count in the dance tutorials and can get it down with practice and you will get it crystal clearr
2) record with the phone and analyse then slow the speed and imagine yourself dancing in front of you while you dance.. This is not only great for practicing but also performing and muscle memory💯
3) you can buy an aux cord or the red+white (lmao idk the name) cord which connects your phone to the tv speakers.. Plus it's cheapp hehe
You can do thiss💕
Same
record yourself and play the songs on a tv cuz it’s way easier to see the steps. when i watched dances on my phone i couldn’t see it that well and had no idea what to do
You can use tik tok.
i really want to know how to look cool while dancing ......i guess it’s the posture....can please discuss more about it please
this sounds kinda odd but head (?) movements matter a lot too so like turning your head to one side could completely change how it looks when you’re doing the specific move.. or maybe check in a mirror or record yourself and see what could be fixed to look better
If you're working on your posture just make sure your head and shoulders are aligned and relaxed... Start at a slower speed and record yourself on the camera (really important) just make sure to not stress out if it looks bad and be patient (this was really hard for me lol) take a break and continue just don't be hard on yourself.... another way is to edit comparison videos/ side by side and analysis what looks good & make sure to not compare body types with the original and only the way they carry their body before and after every move..that's the part which causes stress or stiffness mostly but the results are guaranteed 💯.... Hope this helps 💕
I'm still working on itmyself haha this is the advice I gathered.. Let's improve together ^^~
I’m a technical dancer and if you want to know how to fix your posture what you’re gonna do is pretend you have a high pony tail and someone is pulling it upwards try to straighten your back and pull in your butt suck in your abdomen and keep your shoulders down reach your neck up so it looks longer too now stay there and maintain the posture for the rest of the dance it will be hard at first but keep going and soon it will feel natural.
@@puppiboy5491 yea that's a really good tip as a gymnast I also have been given advice like this from my teacher
i know i can’t dance. but i wanna get better because i love doing kpop dances!
I’m 12. And I wanna become an idol. I think I can make it! I know I can make it. Thank you!

When I'm dancing kpop songs, I don't count. I just timing my moves to the beat..?
U don’t necessarily have to count in my opinion. As long as you can match with the rhythm it’s okay
Omg same
it's helpful for moves that aren't on beat. sometimes you have to initiate something and you won't be able to hear it.
Me too, I can’t dance to counts, it just confuse me
Oh yes me too
I don’t like dancing in front of people but this video made me think about my confidence when dancing and the energy I put into my dancing and this video helped me alot! tysm
i’ve danced for a while when i was younger but i lost almost all of my dancing skills i’m not that good anymore so this video helped a lot!
I am gonna improve y'all !!😎⚡⚡
Yes!! 👏👏
I’ve been dancing for 2 years now and I never used counts ever. I guess I should do that more often lol. I also learned ITZY Wannabe in 20 minutes by studying it in a slow speed and copying the moves before standing up and dancing along with them at a slow speed. After I practiced I filmed myself and studied my dancing side by side with the dance practice. Ofc I watched myself at a slow speed so I could really see how well I did. I then posted my dance cover with a disclaimer saying I just started and I actually got a lot of advice. The people were really nice and weren’t too rude and judgmental. They gave me tips and pointed out things I messed up on. 2 years later, I got the moves down and it looks good lol
Wow I learnt wannabe in 1 week that too with the tutorial!!
@@loveujiminiee me too😂😂😂
tbh you don't need to use counts if you're doing fine without them. some people learn better without counts and some people learn better with. so just do whichever you find easier/more comfortable
I learned it in 2 day because many steps is accept shoulder part
How can ya'll look good while dancing 😭
Cuz i can't-
I ALWAYS, ALWAYS, ALWAYS focus on making everything fun!!
As long as you’re having fun you’re gonna go far learning choreo!
As a cheerleader it’s always easy to break it down as well 1-2-3-4-5+6-7-8!! 🤩🤟🏽
i think something that has helped me tremendously is being more present. 90% of the time, we are idle, just using the body parts necessary. however, when you dance, you need to remember you have so many body parts to move! wrists, fingers, hands, legs, knees, torso... remember that YOU are the one dancing, not the person in the dance tutorial. and i recommend excentuating your movements too, because even though we may think we're moving a lot bc we feel it, to others, we are barely moving. I like to think what it would look like from someone else's pov sometimes. idk why it helps me.
also remember to do every intricate move correctly. don't fling your wrists in random places, but, rather, do it in the order that the dancer you are watching is. hope this helps.
Ok so I am someone who is very bad at dancing I remember how I was the only one left out in every dance performances at our school I remember how my teachers embarrassed me in front of everyone so I started to learn few kpop dances recently I saw changes I have improved a lot so I have challenged myself to become a good dancer
After 1 year I will become someone who my teacher he pick me without any hesitation😎

But im tryin to be better✌🏻💜
I dance for 4 hours with my sister and after eating we take a break for 10 minutes and we have improve our dance we begin with dancing twice like ooh aah and we have finished dancing first by everglow in 2 hours
I loved to dance ever since I was a kid, I am auditioning for YG right now and decided to record my dance so I can monitor myself, but I noticed that I looked uneasy, some joint were hard and I look like a freaking inflatable Infront of malls, this really helped a lot, thank you
4-5 years ago, I was learning the dances I encountered on social media. to be honest, the biggest factor in my interest in dance was social media. I stopped dancing for a while. About 3-4 months ago, I started dancing again after a long break. I know that I am improving day by day. Dancing helped me overcome my anxiety. When I saw that dancing helped me, I couldn't stop. Moreover, I have made incredible progress in a few months and I do not intend to quit dancing.
I'm just gonna wait till my parents are at work then I'll practice 😅
Thank you so much for the likes😇🥺❤

10:30 I completely agree with this one. Most of the time when I want to learn a dance but I’m either too lazy or don’t have enough time to practice the dance I just watch the dance practices. I am two years in my self-taught kpop journey and honestly, these tips were really helpful....I didn't even realize how much I was pushing myself to learn the choreography faster, not letting myself practice and perfect the moves. Most of these tips are really important and I'm glad I youtube recommended your video to me today! Thanks a lot!!

You can watch kpop tutorials they will show clearly
Just feel for the beat, if you can bop your head on beat then you can count. And if there are 2 moves in one beat it would be for example 2 and 3 in the length of one beat. I hope this helps!

I usually think that counting isn’t important and it’s just confusing but thanks to ur video and dance lessons in general as well I understand how important it is as usually I dance to fast and rush everything so then I’m just stood still because I don’t know what to do . Tysm for making this video it is really helpful for me and others 💖💖💖💖

So much of positivity radiating from you........ let's get it 💜💜
I’ve been dancing since I was like 4, but it was always a for fun non-serious type of thing for me. Now that I’m into kpop, I feel like I now really can understand that hip hop is my style and I want to get good at kpop dancing since it is now something that I want to be serious. So this is very helpful and I can’t wait to start!

I am 24, and just starting dance now. Your videos reallu help. I find it so hard when practicing, and it was so hard for me to keep the rhythm and when I feel that I finally memorized all the steps. I look really bad. I think I just need to be patient and enjoy the process. Im subscribing tho!!
The one with recording is so good! I remember me and my friend would like learn dances just using mirror videos and at some point my friend had the idea to record our dancing and it really helped us find our mistakes and stuff

I dance and workout everyday! I love dancing so much I have since I was very little I’m in dance but I won’t be going for awhile because quarantine and I haven’t had much experience with dance and I’m kinda sloppy so I made it a habit to stay home and do dances even if it’s just like 15 seconds I’m a very determined and hard working person so this helps!
