Great video Ashley. Thank you so much!
You're so welcome!
Thanks again Ashley. I don’t have any other online teacher friends so it’s great that you make these videos. They are reassuring ❤
Thank You so much Ashley!! I have been wanting to make videos for a long time! I also struggle with finding my way as a teacher. I still lack some confidence but I won’t give up. I realize I don’t have to be perfect just being me is enough! You are a blessing🙏🏽ThankYou again my friend💜
This is FABULOUS content 👏🏽 thank you for what you do!
You made me feel so much better sharing your struggle about wording cues and speaking authentically! I struggle with it too. It does get better but only with practice!
Ashely, thank you💛🙏What you do is amazing and so helpful,i m very greatful to find you amongst so many tutorial videos on this subject..Keep up great work, wishing you happiness 💛🙌
Great advice, once again! Thank you Ashley
Thank you and you're welcome. I'm glad this video is finding the audience who needs it.
SOOOO helpful Ashley! I am hoping to launch my mat Pilates virtual business soon :) You have really helped me work through some major anxieties I was holding onto. Thank you!!!
Thank you very much!
fantastic info!
Thank you for sharing, I’ve been teaching for a year now and felt exactly the same.......I still at times have imposter syndrome but it is really good advise to narrow down your style instead of trying to please everyone. Something I seem to do a lot. So nice of you to share. X
I love your soul! You are so pure and full of love. Thank you for your knowledge 😍
Really great insights! I think the hardest thing is just to get started teaching. Mistakes have to be fixed on the way, if you get too worried to fix all mistakes before you even start, you will not really learn from them.
I'm so happy I found you Ashley! Thank you for your help, advice and encouragement
You're welcome! I'm glad to help. Are you teaching yoga classes now days?
@@AshleyHagen Yes, I've completed my training and am in the process of setting up my business, so your tips have been very helpful!
Thank you so much! I really appreciate the info and tips you’re sharing. I’m just getting started teaching online and wish I found you and your videos earlier because you would have probably motivated me to start teaching sooner. You just covered every single “myth” that’s been keeping me from getting started for months now. But as you said in the video, it’s never too late to get into the game so here I go! Thanks again for your encouragement and helpful tips 🙏
It's never too late! Yes! And I'm glad I have been able to help you.
Thanks Ashley, you motivated me to get more excited to be a teacher .. love from East Borneo
Thank you 🙏 I feel much better about this process now 😊. You are lovely
Took a full page of notes, thank you!

You are amazing!! I've been creating so much excuses for not to show up .
No excuses anymore!!🧘♀️😁🙏
Your video came in the perfect timing for me. Thank you, so valuable.
Encuentro fabuloso tu canal, mis felicitaciones por tu trabajo!
Oh my goodness ❤️ Ashley you're my life saver....you and your videos are helping me a great way where I can't explain in my words!!
I did my teacher training on October 2019....and I just started teaching on Dec 2019 till February 2020 and I stopped due to covid19.

Thank you so much. Love you❤️

U r amazing teacher!!!🤩👏👏❤️

Thanks for your help
You're welcome!
Your personality and charm flow through the vedio, your generosity of the information is greatly appreciated, many more success, Ashley! Namaste 🙏
Thank you so much! Lots and lots of practice of trying to show up on video the same as how I would be off video. It doesn't always happen naturally, but practice definitely helps. I'm glad you enjoyed!
@@AshleyHagen I did smile throughout your talk and think ur students must be joyful to see your beautiful baby. Keep sharing what you do and awaits your amazing works 💚

I'm so glad it helped get you started.
Bless your soul ❤️
I've been teaching online for studios this year, but only started setting up my own online classes last month. The past month had been a little heavy on me emotionally. I've been providing weekly 35min community classes to try to gain audience, and set up 1 paid class every week. For the first 2 weeks, there wasn't anyone interested, but recently, I had 3 students who bought 3 - 5 credit packs with me. But I guess I've been putting a lot of expectations and pressure on myself about this, and feel discouraged when ppl don't come back, or not many ppl are paying to come to my classes.
So, I really appreciated this video, especially when you address how it's never too late to start no matter how saturated the industry is, and that even though there are free classes out there, people will still be willing to pay if we can provide them the things they value in our classes. I also like what you mentioned about separating the business and personal, this is probably one of the biggest struggles I have as a new teacher. I'm trying my best not to read things as "maybe the students had a bad experience" when they don't come back to my classes, because that just starts a whole cycle of destroying my own self-worth 😖
Anyway, thanks so much for sharing! Also, all your videos on microphones and set-up have been really really helpful for me!! Thank you 🥰🤍✨
I am having also same doubts in my mind. 😀. Nice explanation
Every single one of these myths have been my "reasons" for not starting my teaching journey. I graduated from my YTT200HR at the peak of the pandemic (March) and felt like I never had the chance to put my training to use... this was everything I needed to hear! THANK YOU
All I know is... you are not alone!
Don't forget this will pass one day the opportunity will be there. This is a lifetime journey and we lost many very good teachers who weren't open to this concept of going on line. I'm looking forward to getting my old life back and seeing faces again but now there is a whole new world that I didn't know existed. I also work less for the same amount of money and can conserve energy. I'm never teaching 15-18 classes a week again!
I started Yoga body in 2007 slacked up , but on my own. Then I started Yoga again with a yoga teacher in the studio. I'm still working on it every day. I'm glad to be here in this space with you I am learning more about it where I left off. Yoga is my passion.
I'm working on getting my Yoga time off and running online now.
You are amazing..
Thank you so much 😀
Enjoyed your video and your advise. How and where do i get certified for teaching a simple yoga, like chairside or restorative?
I'm a yoga teacher from India 🇮🇳 I had a very bad tym to move to online teaching after covid I still am learning and your videos help he so much ❤🥰
I started teaching 5 days after my TTC. It's been almost 3 years now and I am happy.
Hi Ashley! what microphone / wireless headset do you recommend? I see you are wearing one in your top! Thank you :) your videos are super!!!

Hey!
Did you shoot this video with your iPhone, LogiTech C920 WebCam (from previous vid), or other? Just curious. This looks great.
Logitech C920

I'm one of the Yoga w Adriene peeps. I was interested in what she does, just online videos, no interaction. Is that feasible to do nowadays on YT?
Sure! But you've gotta find a way to stand out and be unique. Yoga with Adrienne has a whole production team and she started out as an actress. If you have the means to do it, it's definitely possible. There's always room for more.
Do you need to purchase a web cam to make videos or record on you tube??
No, you can use your phone. Or the internal camera on a laptop. A webcam is usually just better quality than the laptops internal camera.
I have my living room furniture in my dinning room. My living room only has my puja table in it. The maintenance crew at my apartments must think I am crazy. 😆
I'm not a yoga teacher but a fitness instructor. However, I can relate to this lol thanks so much for your tips. I'll start to apply in my business straight away.
Yes! I am a fitness instructor originally, but niched down to yoga and just went with it. So far so good! But similar concepts and tips apply.
Can you plz let me know which mobile holder i should get .
Mobile holder?
