I feel like I would only go because the desserts always sound great. I didn’t realize they did other food also. I love Akihabara and I’ve never been there. Lol
if anybody wonders if the maids speak english, there actually not that bad. Most of them are not fluent but will make their best attempt to speak english if you dont speak japanese. Lot of those maids do have some english skills just the fact they deal with a lot of foreingers. In my experience, I communicated with them just fine. There as nice as they can be too.

When i used to walk up and down akihabara, i always found the maid dreamin girls to be friendly rather than just doing it for the job, sometimes i would get ignored by others but they were selling something else that was supposedly japanese only, they'd never give the leaflet to me and would turn away. I mostly went there for mister donuts and the game shops ^_^

hey kimido I was in Akihabara the day before oct 24 which is my birthday. I went to maidreamin and they made a special cake and sang happy birthday in japanese for me. It was very fun. I also went to akihabara the first night I arrived oct 14 and went to maidreamin that night too. Overall I went to 7 different maid cafes while in Japan. I left Japan the same day you girls went to akihabara but definitely will return to Japan soon.
The maids are soo cute >,< It looks kinda sad that there are no other people around. But it still looked like a lot of fun! :) And also I really love those gacha! I wish we had them here too....

My husband and I visited that cafe last summer. We had a great time. :) Although it was a bit weird that I and two other foreigners were the only women there. Mostly Japanese guys who came in alone, hehe. Also, the food was delicious!

I was in Tokyo for three weeks until a few days ago... and I don't know, but I found Akihabara a bit creepy... maybe because the first thing I saw after leaving the station was a Lolita Hentai type of advert :D. I preferred Ikebukuro, but Akihabara had great arcades and we were in the same Gacha place as you two, which was super cool! :)
I really want to go there for anime goods, Akihabara is in 1st place in my bucket list but I know that if I ever go there I would leave broken with my 2D paradise xaxax
