    A really beautiful forest! Love the groundcover, with an open understory. Cool that you found the cave.

      It was pretty cool to see in person. I've been wanting to see it for a couple of years now.

    I think the blue flowers are called Blue Eyed Mary, only a couple of varieties even grow in the east with most growing out west.

      It was a cool spot to finally find in the heart of the Hoosier National Forest in the Charles Deam Wilderness in South Central Indiana... Worth the search...

    Hey Andy! What a beautiful day and a great trail. I love the new camera. I have ridden with a 360 cam but never hiked with one. I am trying to figure out my camera solution for my hopeful thru hike, I hadn’t considered a 360 but maybe 🤔 Thanks for bringing us along today. I hope tomorrow’s miles are kind. Keep truckin’ and be well. #giveashit

      Thanks MG. I've been experimenting on some new camera choices and that is one that I think will add some cool shots going forward. Thanks, as always, for supporting the channel!

    Andy, I’d love to take my Philmont crew to see this. If we wanted to make a Friday afternoon-Sunday afternoon, >15 mile hike, how would you recommend incorporating this cave?

    • @AndyParrishOutdoors
      @AndyParrishOutdoors  11 місяців тому +1

      Park at the fire tower. Sycamore loop then over to the peninsula. Loop over by the Blackwell camp (passing near the cave) and then back to the fire tower... There are plenty of ways to camp along the route and make this work.

      @@AndyParrishOutdoors Appreciate it. I’m pretty familiar with sycamore loop. Should be able to add on the cave to the backend. Thanks!
