I'm just 2 minutes in and you have been more helpful than all of the other sites who claim to teach you in an efficient way how to do a literature review. You've been very helpful; from a postgraduate student that has been struggling a lot with their research, thank you so much!
So glad it helped !
This was EXCELLENT Dr. Copeland! Thank you so much. I had a literature review and had to use 30 sources for my Masters program. This was so helpful to help me organize and how to use my annotated bibliography into my literature review. It was helpful to watch you piece this together and it helped me tremendously. Thank you again😀
So happy that it helped you!
This is really a great video. Thank you! Dr.

This was extremely helpful.
I'm so glad that you found it useful!
Thank you so much!!!
This was really helpful and clear! Would you recommend a closing sentence or two to end the literature review instead of ending it with the last cited material?
Thank you!!!
This was helpful.
Nice!!!
Thanks a lot.
Hello Dr. Chris, thank you for the video, can this approach be used for a 20 page literature review? How many reference articles would one have to go through in such a case? Seems alot, considering each Paragraph has 1 or 2 articles.
Hello thank you for the video, it really helped. I do have a question my teacher is wanting me to use 8 of the sources from the annotated bibliography, which my topic is the lost colony of Roanoke I'm kind of stuck on how to type it or where to start, like how to transition and all.
This was super helpful. Thank you!
Hi Dr. Copeland,
My homeland security professor is very hardcore and had us create an annotated bib with 20 citations. I am now having to turn this into a literature review. With 20 citations, how would one go about turning this into a 5-8 page paper without having to write 20 paragraphs, as you had mentioned in the video?
Much appreciated!
You can combine multiple citations that say the same thing to one paragraph if the findings are the same. This is done often when there is consensus in the research or replication studies yield the same result. Find what results are the same or very similar and combine those. You can cite these in the sentence just follow the citation style for multiple citations:
Hi Dr Copeland. How do you find articles that have literature review? Please can you help?
You have to do the review of the article for a literature review. I have videos on my research playlist that can show you how to find articles for each of the major databases at a university. I also have a video on how to write a annotated bibliography, the framework of a literature review. The playlist is located here: ua-cam.com/play/PLnlIwzdKlitr37v1xJ_ClDL2Npn6ru-sl.html for finding articles and the video for how to write an annotated bib can be found here: ua-cam.com/video/BSYCA2FYHCM/v-deo.html
Hi, very nice presentation. Here the topic or the literature review was about Crawlers of Darkweb. How one would get all the material at one hand and create an annotated bib. if the topic of research question is different?
would be pleased to know writing the lit. rev. for different topics with alternative options. thanks.
Check out the videos on how to find articles on my channel. Then take a look at the Mendeley videos, that can help you organize and annotate your articles.
Hello doctor and thank you very much, I have question can I start my review in chronological order so I start from previous studies to new studies?
I typically do mine in chronological order
