R1s just blow up from wheelies if you do it excessively, because the engine won't get oil in that upright wheelie position. So just popping a wheelie here and there really shouldn't hurt it.

U said u dont have enough time to learn all these different bikes since u dont have much seat time. I see u struggling quite a bit with throttle control with the wheelies, maybe try in third? Might be a bit more forgiving on throttle and i bet the r1m has enough torque to keep it up at lower rpm's. Now u were tryna hold balance point at around 10k. Happy to see u doing clutch-ups now instead of chasers 🏍🏍🏍

Sup bro..nice bike. Hey Will, do you think the 2025 R1 is worth it? Or would you just stick with the 2024? I know the 25 has wings and brembos and all. But isn't it basically the same as the 24

You're correct. As far as power goes it's still the same, but 25's base R1 gets updated forks and Brembo master and calipers, and the price went up about 500 which is worth it. I saw the 25 R1 at the dealership already and I'm not crazy about the winglets especially with them being held on by push pins. Unless dealership offers me a smoking deal like they did this R1M, I don't see us getting a 2025. But if you can get a 24 still, and get a good price on it, I'd go for that and then hit me up for a Brembo upgrade 😂
