I remember these items. I was small, but my grandma bought lipstick, perfumes, and bubble bath from Avon quite regularly.
Her color was "Cafe au lait".
She'd let me keep the samples the Avon Lady gave her.
Ahh!! SLICK TINT!!! Forgot about that stuff!
And I had ALL of that Blossom little girl line. I didn't remember it was Avon.

My mums Avon lady when I was about 9yo was called Pearl, and I thought she was so glam. She always had at least 3 mums visiting, and my Mum would pop in after school most nights for a coffee and chat. Pearl would be cooking dinner or ironing in full makeup, hair bouffed, whilst simultaneously smoking (ah the 80s 😬), holding court, child-minding and selling. She was such a good salesperson the mothers didn’t even realise they were being sold to. I loved the spectrum 100 and Arabian glow range and used to get the old testers.
I didn’t know why she was laughing about the word “wind” and then I realized that it’s what they call intestinal gas in the UK. 🤣🤣🤣

I adore this video! Absolutely love going through catalogs like this, sooo relaxing. I love the way that beauty companies romanticize product descriptions, especially for fragrances. It's so over the top but it makes for great ASMR! Please do more like this! 💖

Avon had a perfume called Wink like 15 years ago, its discontinued since, but its still in my nose, i was a teen back then and remember how obsessed i was with it. Just out of curiousity i checked and its still available at several places in the US, i wish i could buy it but they dont ship to Switzerland.
