- M&P Core with Apex FSS sear and trigger now has to shoot in "Race" division in USSL. It isn't ported. Mag extensions are from Taylor Freelance. 2nd place in Race division, 5th of 43 overall.

Hello, I ran across your post on "The High Road" forums about you fixing your friends single action bar Mossberg 500. One I'm working on is double feeding EXACTLY how you described. I read the whole forum, but you never ended up sharing how you fixed the double feeding issue. If you don't mind, I would GREATLY appreciate you telling me how you fixed the double feeding problem! I know that this is off topic of your video, but it was the only way I could find to contact you. Thanks so much for the help!
You'll have to remind me about the double feeding problem. The one I remember fixing would jam upon attempting to lift the cartridge into position past the extractors. I had to carefully smooth/file the bottom inside edges of the extractors to allow the rim to slip up between them smoothly. If yours is double feeding, or releasing shells from the mag tube when it's not supposed to, I'd have a close look at the shell stop and the interrupter. You might need to replace one or both. In any case give them a good cleaning and make sure there's no crud behind them. If you're having another issue LMK and I'll do what I can.
Thanks so much for responding! I really appreciate it! I'll look at the shell stop and cartridge interrupter when I get home. Mine is releasing 2 shells most of the time. Sometimes pumping it fast will make it work but not always... @@cooperway4171 Thanks. I had forgotten that it was also double feeding. in that thread I say I fixed it but it doesn't say how. I must have tried a new interrupter or maybe a good cleaning fixed it. I probably swapped the interrupter. but I'm not sure. It's annoying that I didn't say how I fixed it! LOL
