@@justin_hernandez for one .. Totch Brown, a Life in The Everglades. Best book I ever read. Authentic as it gets.
Glenn Simmons has a good one too but Totch’s is more hardcore.
Read “The Swamp” for the geopolitical story
Then read 2000 years of history in the Everglades
