They played it as the last song every show from 2010 till 2013 after Paul's passing. They used to put his uniform, bass and mask on the stage and hug him after the concert was over with this song playing. It was really emotional.
Yeah man, I saw this live at Sonisphere, not a dry eye in the crowd! Was mental!
When Joey hugged the memorial I nearly died of sadness
3:15 Despite what some fans have said, this song was in fact released before Paul passed away. I remember going out on the release date in 2008 to buy this album and the special edition had this as a bonus track. Paul passed two years later, and the band started playing it at the end of their live shows as a tribute.
While I can understand the love many fans have for this song, I really don't care much for it or any of the other bonus tracks that were released on the album.
10:30 I think they do have screens with their pictures now, but I'm not sure because I haven't seen them live in years. Last time I saw them was in 2012, Joey was still with them, but instead of the screen with pictures they had Paul's jumpsuit and mask on stage.

They play the recording over the sound system at the end of all their shows. During this time Joey and Paul’s numbers and pictures are shown on the screen. Usually Clown, Jay, Jim, Mick and Tortilla will throw their guitar picks/drum sticks to people in the crowd.
They played this song after their show at KNOTFEST and had pics of joey and Paul makes me sad. Rip

IIRC, this song was included on an extended edition of AHIG but was originally part of a yet unreleased album, Look Outside Your Window, which was recorded by Corey, Jim, Sid, and Clown. It was reportedly very experimental and used lots of Sid work. It has yet to be released yet though. It was supposed to be finally released after WANYK came out but plans were changed and it was delayed AGAIN. Sadge.

Please please please! Do yourself two favors. Number one there’s a video for this song live showing them memorialize Paul that you should react to sometime when you do another Slipknot video reaction. Also second of all please go see them live. You absolutely need to experience the whole atmosphere plus the ending with Paul and Joey’s memorial accompanied by this song. It’s so powerful.
PS: I’m glad you caught that he said “I never knew trust like the nine” it’s is probably the most important lyric not only for this song but for their whole discography. Thank you for making these videos!
I recall going to see Slipknot in concert any number of times, and a couple of them, bassist Paul Gray was not on stage... I didn't know this at the time, but he was struggling w/ addiction for quite a while. Joey (#1) Jordison was always in top form on the drums... Both moments were shocking to me, when Paul Gray passed away in 2010... and Joey was out by 2014, and died in 2021 😪😪
I consider myself blessed to have seen Slipknot (the classic 9) in concert from 1999 until 2009. And then again after 2011...

After all is said and done, and the ghosts are laid to rest, those last remaining pounding bass notes and lonely guitar leads echoing out into nothing remind you what this is all for.
This is a family. We won't be broken. We won't be forgotten. And we'll stand strong for what this represents until the bitter end.

This album is my least favorite of them. But it's a slipknot album, which is my favorite band, so I still really like it. And over the years it grew more in my heart, mainly because it was the last one with Paul and Joey.
It’s an outro to the set list, and it’s played over the PA not performed by the band themselves. I love that you started adding outtakes, and Mocha likes melodic Slipknot. This can be tested with Goodbye, but I think the Mega Maggots wanna see Snuff as well.😂 I’m gonna BEG them to play Snuff at Knotfest in Fargo. If they do, I’ll record it and send it to you.
They definitely played Snuff, well, at the show I went to in Ottawa on May 29th 2022 anyway. What a moment. Everyone had their lighters and phones out, waving them back and forth and singing with Corey. I was too. What a mood.

Even though this band didn’t like this album I hope they didn’t regret making this album. Sure it’s not my favorite album but I love a majority of this song in this album.
My favorite slipknot B-track songs are The Bourden and Override
