You must of read my mind as I've actually ordered one and it should be here in a couple of days, it's for my nikon D5300. I've already got one for my nikon P900. I've not tested too see if it would of worked on the 5300, oh well only a couple of £. Hi from the UK
Hi, can i also re-focus/auto focus the lens while its video recording using the remote? Thats what i badly needed to confirm before i buy this. Awesome vid btw
No, you simply set the release mode on the camera to Quick-response Remote, and it should work. Keep in mind that some cameras won't work with a remote, so make sure you check your camera’s manual before buying a remote like this.
the problem with that remote is that i need to point it directly at the camera and when i solo model my hand has to be pointed at the camera. it cant even be behind my back
Whenever I take photos of myself, I set the remote to delayed release, which gives you 2 seconds to hide the remote in your hand, your clothing, or to set it aside somewhere. It's not much time, but I've had success with that.
How to set up the D70 camera. I can't get the remote to work---I tried 5 of them. HELP!!!! PLEASE>
Have you looked at the manual to see what remotes are compatible with the D70?

If this video triggers something in you. Release your reaction in a comment. 😉
Is there any option to record video with a remote control in my d5200? Thanks.
I don't believe so unfortunately. The d5200 is just a little too old for functions like that. 🙂

Unfortunately, you can't do that with the remote. It just controls shutter release.
Super! thanks!
Thanks for watching Helen. 😀
How do you set up the camera to order it? Do you need to pair it?
