Coming from a Nikon D3300 I am so sad that this camera doesn’t have the button on the left to adjust iso with the scroll wheel… it’s a tiny thing but pulling away from the viewfinder to have to fumble with the buttons and go back and forth until I get the lighting I want sucks
You can set up the Function button so that you can press it and then change ISO with the scroll wheel. That setting is inside the Custom Setting Menu under Controls, and then Assign Fn Button. Inside that menu, you have a whole load of things that you can assign to the Fn button.
@@photographersfreedom I feel like I’ve gone through every menu in that camera trying to find that. I will try and set that up asap. That’s awesome! Thank you so much.
@@photographersfreedom are you mistaking that menu from another model Nikon like maybe the D7500? My camera does not have the custom controls menu, nor does anyone else on the internet it seems…
@dylanthomas9777 no, it's definitely in the D5200. Press the Menu button, choose the Custom Setting Menu (pencil icon), Controls, and Assign Fn button.
