The new SL2 Pro LED has been carefully refined and improved with some major upgrades: next-generation TST LED technology, an integrated top-mount fan, and a fully integrated, wire-free design. As a direct plug-and-play replacement, it provides a significant increase in output, in a compact package.
APPLICATION NOTICE: LED bulbs are legal in the USA for Fog Light use only. Not compliant with DOT / FMVSS108 and not street legal in the USA for Headlights. Legal for off-road use in ATV, snowmobile, and off-road racing use. International legality varies by country.

I have a 2015 GMC Sierra 1500. They have projector lenses and I was wondering should I still get them vertical like in the video?

Yes, with any LED bulb, you want the LED chips facing horizontal to retain the same beam pattern as factory halogen bulbs!

So my Gen5 4runner has a projector lens. You cant see inside. Does this still apply or are the internals round?

The SL2 Pro is designed and engineered to mimic the beam pattern and filament of a standard halogen bulb. Unfortunately, the DOT states that any standard halogen bulb in a headlight application can only be replaced with another halogen bulb. This usage regulation is not unique to Diode Dynamics bulbs. Yeah! But for example 2014 xterra ...this would need to be aligned vertically...as most Halogen and LED lights....as certain cars...have issues with LED or non manufacturing head lights...

These bulbs mimic the installation and output pattern of halogen bulbs for offroad-use only. These bulbs should install with no issue!
